mine was yesterday, my full charge could only last me until 8pm yesterday(i charge daily), and the phone shut off by itself due to no power. And the usage of phone yesterday was minimal
as i notice the decrease in power, by noon, more than half aredi gone
Usually by midnite there is still battery in green, not even red

and my phone was weird yesterday, no click sound wen sliding to unlocked

anything wrong ka?

i restarted it back home yesterday nite, click sound is there, just need to see how long the battery last today

mine sometimes without pressing the power button or the home button it can turn on by it self..sometimes la...

its like i 1 2 turn it on but before i press its buttons..it comes on

I hate that sumtimes springboards fails to load icons rightaway.... need to respring (on/of button) then it loads... but i guess its just what we call lags... me, last week my iphone became unresponsive when call came in, touch2 on screen, home button, power button, nothing happen but the phone keep ringing, couldn't answer that call. Look like its refuse to come back from standby mode, black screen and ringing

I thought the iPhone software closes the program whenever you press the Home key or other functions.
There's no background running support..

yes as it is apple's official policy but only applicable to those apps that you purchase (and got free) off the app store.

if you off the caller id it you cannot make a call, there is nothing worng with the phone, just let it on and it will be ok already, even ordinary phone also need to one the caller ID.

My advice is to turn off 3G when you are not using it. I have resorted to that now, which in turn saw the signal bar returning to full bars, instead of 2, or even worse, 1 bar when 3G is turned on.

earlier i used 2 leave 3g on, gps's location services on and brightness at abt 50% or so...
bat wun even last me a day...full charge arnd 9am. then nite 8 or 9 pm, battery low than 20%...

then, i off 3g, off da location services, put brightness at 10%...
guess wat, bat last more than 2 days...
full charge, average amt of calls and sms...ipod usage a little...
quiet happy with this...
maybe 2.1 wud improve bat life even more...

The thing with the pinching and other stuff we did on iphone really remind me of a instance where i was playing with my friends Dopod phone (donno which model). I kept flicking the damn screen to get to the next picture or tilting it to change the rotation. Hahahahahahahaha. Now if i'm given a WinMO surely dont know how to use already.

i had this problem too...
sometimes the phone just kept ringing but the screen is black...have to wait like 5 -6 seconds then the slide to answer screen will appear

To force quit an application, press the Home button for several seconds until your iPhone shows the home screen.

APN (if i'm not wrong) is kind of like a admin control of network accessing.

by restricting network access in APN control, the phone will not even connect to GPRS, let alone EDGE/3G.

and i believe this is not phone level control, sim card's PIN2 is require to access to the controls, at least nokia phone does.

oh your sim locked? is it PIN2 locked? you need PUK2 i guess, to access to the APN controls. you enter PIN2 more than 3 times error izzit...

When u said sim card locked and need to activate again, izzit activating thru iTunes? Maybe u can put your screen shot of the locked sim screen here?

If so then I think your lockdownd file (the activation file thing) might be corrupted. The only solution (if its the lockdownd thing) is to restore and reactivating it again (with your primary sim card inside).
