QUOTE(Seaedge @ Sep 10 2008, 10:26 AM) i heard from my friend that if you wan to really close an app entirely, you have to press home button for more than 5 seconds... but i did not test that though.. somehow is this after you upgrade to 2.0.1? becoz mine is acting weird too although some crashes is common now.. :\ yes it has been that way since i first got my iphone.

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Sep 10 2008, 11:09 AM) I thought the iPhone software closes the program whenever you press the Home key or other functions. There's no background running support.. Is that wrong understanding? yes as it is apple's official policy but only applicable to those apps that you purchase (and got free) off the app store. but not necessarily applicable to the 3rd party apps found in installer and cydia.

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Sep 10 2008, 01:57 PM) RX330, you may be facing the phone's difficulties on latching onto a signal. When this happens, the antenna have its power boosted, resulting in a marked higher power consumption, to try and catch onto the 3G signal. This results in battery endurance reducing faster than normal, and the secondary effect of warming up your Aifontriji. Which in some extreme cases, results in burnt flesh if placed near your body. My advice is to turn off 3G when you are not using it. I have resorted to that now, which in turn saw the signal bar returning to full bars, instead of 2, or even worse, 1 bar when 3G is turned on.yes, i can confirm stringfellow's statement; it is the exact phenomenon with maxis as well (considering that stringfellow is currently on celcom)
