Your are correct. Since HD3200 and 3450 is basically the same GPU(40 SPs). Only 100mhz difference in core clock speed. I dont think there will be much difference in GPU performance. The only thing I missed is bluetooth and 125AX has it.
*
oic...but seem like with additional Rm200 is worth, u get additional 90GB HDD size, your bluetooth & the dedicated GPU 256MB rclxms.gif

vista rating dun prove anything i think, it just a simple benchie...
just like a intel X3100 in vista rating score higher than a ATI X300, but when go for game, X3100 cannot even catch up the ATI X300
*
nod.gif don't ever trust the vista rating tongue.gif

QUOTE(name @ Sep 25 2008, 09:00 AM)
i did install for few CQ40-115AU
and CQ40-125AX

and i recommended Vista

the common problem both on Vista and XP is the "Tett" sound
just XP the sound quite irritating and for Vista just smooth sound

for drivers.
i will try update you all regarding it soon smile.gif
just want to share..

and one more thing..
while i was installing CQ40-125AX in VIsta
there is 2drivers not available for Vista
Wireless - Broadcom
Webcam - Cyberlink Youcam
*
sweat.gif i thought its 100% working drivers on vista.

mean can't use the wireless/webcam ATM?

cannavaro, that mean laptop RAM is cheaper than a desktop RAM lo?
wagaga....

if cq40-125ax (AMD turion x2 RM-70) add 2x2GB 800mhz RAM is about RM 2300 (2099+93+93)

asus F5SL with C2D T5750 with 2GB RAM ddr2 is about RM 2600

which one suit for me? becoz i dun wan to pay so much if can. both is about my budget.

I just dun wan too hot then is ok... oh ya one more thing to ask (^^), can i feel the diff with this AMD and C2D proc if i just moderate using and moderate gaming eg dota?

Regarding the OS, where can i find the OS? just buy the RM10 one pcs DVD and install? if can borrow from fren the original cd to install? my sis using dell 1420, can i use hers to install?

sorry, dun laugh becoz i nvr use laptop b4.... ("\(happy.gif)/")

is that this one? http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?modelmen...=24&l3=477&l4=0

hmm.gif the chipset SiS 671DX+968 ...good ah? compare with 125ax

QUOTE(daymond85 @ Dec 5 2008, 08:13 AM)
actually, i mean that xrossfire in 115au not 125ax...nvm forget abt this....(i tot HP disabled the integrated GPU in 125ax so that it cant be used. Since 115au using integrated GPU and if can buy a discrete GPU for it, is it possible to do crozzfire? HP disabled discrete GPU slot in 115au?) rclxub.gif
i know 133 come with extra spec, but the price is another thing if i upgrade both to 4GB ddr 800.

133ax, 3450+RM-72+320GB+4GB ddr2 800 = 2099+160 = 2259

115au, 3200+RM-70+160GB+4GB ddr2 800 = 1549+160 = 1709

2259-1709 = 550
So, RM550 for a slightly better (according to cannavaro) GPU, 0.1Ghz faster proc and 160GB HDD. Is it worth? Can anyone analyze for me?
The price of 115au in pc fair is so so so attractive le.... Suffered me rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif
*
forget about cq40 Hybrid CrossFireas its IMPOSSIBLE, unless Dual GPU built in

HD3450 is about 18% - 27% better than HD3200

http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-Radeon-HD-3200.9591.0.html
http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-Mobility-...450.9593.0.html

if without discount..i would go for HD3450..but since its Rm550 different laugh.gif
