Personally I would open it up and wash the PCB in distilled water and dry it out. My 8800 got soaked in rain last time, I left it to dry and it worked fine for 2 days then died due to PCB corrosion. doh.gif

Keep us updated on the overall progress. If it really works then it's about time all of us bring a bag of rice where ever we go just in case the phone decides to take a nice bath.

Thirsty Hippo cannot help? Hair dryer only works if u opened ur iphone or else, it can be worst if blown from outside (Damp will developed inside). Uncooked rice is prooven from google's testimonials... Lets cross fingers for this beauty to revive...

Faster way by using hammer.... The normal way is get yourself a set of opening tools(so happen I am selling) and google online on howto.

errr...didnt work well..but its not water...the shop said
