If you not free, can call your sister/friend to go too..
they just won't care, they just need the ic and number to key in, then you get full validity

QUOTE(rapster88 @ Jan 9 2009, 12:47 AM) Guys, I think they really do the verification because 3 days ago, I came back from my country and found out that my UOX line has Network time expired. I straight away went to the booth in KILA and they told me mine is under verification process. So, in the mean time, I'll be using with UOX rates but there will be Network time expire (2 weeks, I think). no use go to booth, they just won't do the verification.must go to Celcom branch, they will straightly do the verification and you will have full validity. |

QUOTE(iamkid @ Jan 13 2009, 08:29 PM) I got a problem. I port to UOX since december. i got the validity/expiry date till 16/1/09. then i reload 30rm on the 10/1/09, but the expiry date is 10/2/09. what i actually need to do to get the validity until i am 26? This problem has been voiced for more than 10 times in this thread, i hope TS can put the solution in the first post. The solution is --> Go to Celcom centre, give them your ic and tell them your phone number for verification, then you can have the validity until you are 26 immediately. |

I'm quite surprised for the catch...
Last time during Deepavali and Hary Raya Aidilfitri, there's no 10 days validity for the free airtime, the free airtime valid with your number's validity. Celcom is getting more cunning.. This post has been edited by sjz: Jan 26 2009, 07:03 PM |

I am quite confused too with the 10 days validity.
Is this something like this? Our current credit is RM10 before top up RM50. So after topup RM50, get free RM20, total become RM80. If after 10 days, your account still left RM65, the RM5 will be forfeited??? |

no difference at all actually.
even with sox you have your validity until your 26th birthday Added on January 28, 2009, 6:42 pm QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Jan 28 2009, 03:20 AM) What if the situation is something like ths?Our current credit is RM10 before top up RM50. So after topup RM50, get free RM20, total become RM80. 3 days later, i topup another RM10 to my account become RM90. If after 10 days, my balance is RM75. So will they deduct the RM5?? You can call 1111 to disable voicemail.
But you won't be able to know who is calling you when you turn off your phone. |

Yes. Haha..
They will sms informing you.. Topup RM50 and free RM20. I am not sure about the topup RM30 and free RM10 thing because the sms i receive is stating that i must topup min RM50 to have free RM20 credit. |

QUOTE(epool86 @ Mar 3 2009, 12:59 PM) there are some reason why they required users to be verified by their staff first.. because there a lot of fraud made by users, for example signing up using other people IC without permission of the IC owner.. Haha...eventhough u provide mykad during registration.. but the mykad only verify by their dealer, and their dealer dont qualify to verify it on behalf celcom since they're not celcom staff.. and celcom only receive the photocopy of your mykad.. so that is why user (the original mykad owner) need to come to celcom branches (not celcom dealer), with their mykad, and must be shown to the celcom staff in order to verified. I agree with that.. But seems that they aren't that strict now.. Last time i take my sister's ic and verified the UOX for her also no problem.. |

Haha...
I feel quite tempted with the Hotlink Youth Club since about 50% of my friends is using Maxis, so call them would only cost 12 sen compared to now 15 sen and sms only 1 sen compared to 6 sen. But i afraid of the catch which is probably the thing that Maxis enjoy doing it all the while. The calling block still 60 sec/block? Then i make a 30 sec call = 12 sen but with UOX only 8 sen. You mean normal Hotlink is using 60 sec/block and 33sen/min while HYC is 30 sec/block and 15 sen/min?
