OK, long story short. I brought a processor from this seller found out the processor he sell to me is not 478 so I asked for a full refund guess what? He refuse and being rude in PM and start blaming over me saying such situation is not cover by his one warranty agreements. From what I see, this is not a buyer mistake it was truly the seller fault that put the wrong misleading description on his sales post leading me to the wrong type. I did read the Intel specifications showing the correct 478 model that I am looking for and I have also look at the picture uploaded by the seller but I didn't know there are actually two kind/type of this Intel Pentium M processor before so I just buy it by trusting seller description "Package type 478-pin Micro-FCPGA" only after that I opened up my customer notebook to install the processor I look at the existing processor pins and found out the processor from this seller is not the correct 478 model. So to be sure, I go search the internet and shockingly only then I found out the processor it was 479 not 478. I found this M-FCPGA review http://reviews.ebay.com/Intel-apos-s-479-S...T:-1:LISTINGS:1

This self-claim to be a good seller now show his true face trying to escape from his own wrong and misleading description by leaving me a useless 479 processor with an unknown condition?? And refuse to refund. dry.gif

Please to anyone who is reading this do give your constructive comments and make your vote but please stay on topic, don’t start talk about anything not related to this topic or I will not hesitate to report you to the moderator. I do advise everyone for the moment do not deal or buy anything from this irresponsible seller ID "ongbs" until this case is fully solve. hmm.gif I do hope our moderator who's reading this could place a [DISPUTE] tag on this irresponsible seller.

* Please do take note this is not a socket compatibility issue anymore, seller sold to me a faulty processor unit and behave like he is a good man with excuses to runaway from refunding. Read my latest post in page 7.

Yes he should refund. Coz it's the seller's responsible to makesure the buyer buy what they want.btw TS, did u google whether the proc u bought?

He said he's a good well known seller in PM replied so I blindly trusted his word and his product description is accurate in the sales post. I didn't know there are actually two kind/type of this Intel Pentium M processor as I already clarify above. sad.gif

PM the seller about this thread and ask he explain here. Also put the sell's thread link.

He know. I already told him I'll open a topic in Trade Zone Dispute below is some part of his PM.

up to you what you want to do.
I have clearly put the actual pics of my processor in my thread, include the pin view.
I also tell you warranty not cover the compatibility issue and you agreed!

This is not compatibility issue if the processor I brought from him is 478 but the socket is 479 that I agree it is my fault but the notebook is using 478 socket and the processor he sell to me is not 478. Do you understand what I am saying? He turn the table around and refuse to refund and said the warranty not cover the compatibility issue and still think that he is correct about his sales post description leading me to this trouble.

someone look at the processor and please quote the exact stepping and model number of the proc.

Then crosscheck with intel. I am sure it will reveal the correct make/model of the proc.

Post it here so that experts can check it up.

Anyway I personally think seller should be responsible cause he sold it saying it s478 which it isn't. No matter intel site or whichever site says it's wrong. It's not his fault that he didn't know it's s479. But still need to take responsible. Buyer on the other hand buy the item KNOWING and expecting and wanting it to be s478. So, not only he is not at fault, it is his DEMAND. Maybe he scream or shouted at the seller but some people do get angry because i wanted to buy apple but got orange. Perhaps it's not nice for buyer to shout at seller but seller should still be responsible.

Seller can't just put the blame on source of his information even if it's from manufacturer. And seller unable to cope with this kind of customers then better don't do business because this kind of customers will always be around.

Thank you for your simple understanding sentense "i wanted to buy apple but got orange" and yes I am angry because the seller mislead me and cause all this troubles and refuse to refund my money. I am a human too so I'll get angry too who wont? And seller dont talk like you are very nice and polite (what kind of seller who argue with buyer I qwant to ask?) ongbs you are a very bad temper also from what I sense from your atittude.
Did you get the proc next day? I don't know as you didn't reply all my sms, not even a single sms nor my calls!
Think before you speak up. I never promise to answer any of your calls or sms and I am really out of credit at that moment even with credit when I am in working hour, my boss do not allow any of his staff talking to his/her private handphone so I usually off it.

[QUOTE-ongbs]bro, you need to check my sales thread description and all info/descriptions provided by intel, show me where I i put wrong description?
Did Intel mention this proc is 479-pin?
Intel got two kind/type of this processor. Read this review http://reviews.ebay.com/Intel-apos-s-479-S...T:-1:LISTINGS:1

Who is rude? me or irresponsible seller? Refund or no refund? I will let the reader here decide. hmm.gif

TS is not around since the day he open the thread liao.. he must been shock like hell if he read this topic.. heh

I was quite busy for the month no time to go cybercafe to online. Shock but not because of other post, I am shock because of this self-claimed to be a good seller cheated on me.

Sorry for the late reply Ok, let's go back to this case. I must say this seller is a cheater, why? I found out the processor is actually a faulty unit after testing it on a working 479 MPGA socket Pentium M 2GHz centrino notebook, it just wont run, cannot boot. Now I know why this seller refuse to refund from the start, he is desperate.

Yes, many said he is a good sller but any good seller also can change his behaviour anytime and be bad do know this, this case is a good example.

This "ongbs" is a very bad person and he is a joybidder who bid and never paid in lelong.com.my people like him always comes out with excuses. Everyone in lelong.com.my knows him pretty well as a joybidder even the administrator blacklisted him there. Support him as you would but I already fed-up with this cheater.

Go ahead take my Rm160 it's not a very big deal, just consider it a donations from me for your grave "ongbs". I just want to let every reader to know how you doing business here. dry.gif

* Please do take note this is not a socket compatibility issue anymore, seller sold to me a faulty processor unit and behave like he is a good man with excuses to runaway from refunding.
