It may be another unfortunate case of faulty card too.. Try to find another system and test it out.

Has anyone monitored their electric bill after getting 4850GS/4870GS? I'm assuming your mobos do have EPUs so, any changes maybe?

First batch had faults; artifacts and game crashes.
The second batch is the more refined version of the first, more stable, more cooler than the first, and I would claim that so far everyone that have the 2nd batch have experienced lesser or maybe nil faults. Correct me if I'm wrong

...It's not the end if you can't get the card now or tomorrow. Just wait. Start saving bit by bit through cutting down somethings; entertainment mainly. But really.. don't save too much on food

I doubt this sudden price hike will be permanent la; everything that goes up, sure will come down. Relax bro. Time goes on and stay strong.

Yeah still RMA. Right now Netraid is moving to their new office, so they can't do any arrangements or updates for me about my GC. I was expecting a response this week, but now tangguh to next week d. Gosh, thank goodness still got series of TV shows and EPL action to save my sanity.

Awww very nice of you Lacus, but they're moving now for 3 days. I don't think they're open for business nor have the time to check due to the data and files all boxed up d. I don't mind waiting till next week, but I'm getting tensed up for next week cause my final exam results is releasing then.

GUYS! Today I got a suprise package from Netraid and it's my long awaited Gainward 4850 GS!

I got a 1-1 exchange for the new nickel-plated card! And seriously I didn't expect such a shocking event today... gosh I can't feel any better this week than today.

I wish man! Hahaha.. I was initially planning to top up to get 4870.. but after weeks of waiting and due to so much financial crisis, decided better save money.

Added on October 30, 2008, 11:45 pmOh ya, just to share with you guys about the temps of the 4850 GS.. seriously it is a huge improvement of the 1st batch as it was idling 47C at 50% fan speed. NOW its idling at 37C at 50% fan speed. That is holy cow.
