I feel its ok for only 2x 120mm fans. If you had CM690, I figured you'll get about the same as us CM690 users.
Maybe you can try modding with extra fans if you don't plan to change your casing? This post has been edited by desmond1310: Oct 31 2008, 01:00 AM |

cloudwan, I believe its best you pm and send it back to Netraid to swap for a new card. So far a lot of us had experienced problems with the first batch (copper heatsink) and we have sent it back for an exchange d. I believe you're still able to do so right now.

^If they agree to swap 1-1 for you and they've stock, I think within 2 days after you sent to them can get back d.

Vantec PSU so far serves me well. No problems whatsoever. And its cables are already sleeved in blue. It's ideal for your budget IMO.

king99, keep exploring your problem. I suggest that:
1) Make a clean installment of your ati driver. After uninstalling it, boot to safe mode. Use Driver Sweeper and CCleaner to clean your remaining files and registries. After that boot to windows and make the installment. Or, 2) Try to use a different DVI-VGA dongle or use a DVI-D to DVI-D cable if your monitor allows it. 3) If above still gives you the same problem, find a friend with a similar system and try your GC on his system. Do the same as above for your friend's system. Preferably find a system with high PSU watts or +12v single rails. If all 3 tests doesn't solve anything.. it's RMA time |

Has anyone here experience some problems when you OC your 4850 to 740/1140? I did that and during playing FIFA08, there were several hangs during the game and then it crashed. Even at 725/1125 gave hangs but no crashes.

QUOTE(Siu_Keong @ Nov 1 2008, 01:47 PM) Wah desmond1310, you OC your 4850GS somemore? The existing clock don't serve you well? Anyway i'm less experience in OC GC, u need to get some expert from here to help you. Haha it's the card's ability to OC.. so it's fun to explore Anyone here plays Mass Effect? Awesome stuff btw. Something like Neverwinter Nights, but pimped up with super guns! I should just leave it at stock OC then.. extra 2.6G of bandwidth.. I wonder how will that differ in my eyes.
