Asus' non reference 4850 is err, this?

http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/9105/as...gbdhfx57fu4.jpg

Looks like the Toxic and PCS heatsink design.

But this one from Asus looks really COOL!

http://www.nordichardware.com/image3.php?id=5654

And gigabyte, also using those similiar heatsink design for their non reference model. Why pay more when you can get better clock + better support with GS? biggrin.gif.

btw, what's the price of those units like selling in Malaysia?
*
Um you're paying lesser for Gainward due to its bundle of items they're providing you; a 6 pin to 8 pin pci-e power cable and a DVI-VGA dongle only.

Notice that they don't give us Crossfire cable, a DVI-HDMI dongle, etc, etc, unlike IceQ4. For the price you're paying for the GS now, so yeah that's what you get.

But the Kelebihan of Gainward is got great chicks as models, lower prices for original games, gifts for being active in this thread, and extremely awesome after purchase service from Netraid that I respect alot notworthy.gif

Running the stability test for 39 secs tak cukup la. Run for constant 5 mins then I'll say it's good for those temps.

I would like to ask; is the FPS of 1280x1024 = 1440x900? How will Crysis Warhead fare in these resolutions?

If anyone plans to get a 4870, IMO it's like a MUST to have at least 22" monitor d. Or else.. a bit wasted on a 19" maybe. What do you guys think?

It's such a powerful GC and with HDMI. Does 19" have HDMI enabled? So far 22" I believe they do have it. Making full use of the GC counts a lot.

yup..but it's ok..not regretting it..

Serigala, just enjoy your card. Don't have to push the temps so low wan la. Your card isn't going to spoil at lesser than 60C of load. Yeah, you're making the correct decision; don't regret it. Just ENJOYYY!

@ serigala,

Why do you need to change again? Ask yourself this.

No offense if you've plenty of cash to splash and it's your will, I respect that, but frequent changing isn't worth it. You'll ending up losing money in the end and if you count for the next year too, how much will you lose more when 5000 series releases? And after that? It's never ending!

You already have a kick ass card. Many don't. Just be contented with what you have. Your life doesn't revolve around LYN and shopping for expensive goodies all the time. Start thinking of doing something more productive like saving your cash in case of a rainy day ahead or for something better.

Many people now are selling their cards for the reason of money. Times are quite hard d really.

Main thing we should do is ENJOY what we have. Just my few cents as an advice to cure your poison.

Which guy? nujo with the 4850GS? or got someone ocing a 4870GS @@.

There's one person claiming he had 9-11% of performance increment. Won't be around for sometime now.. gtg study for microproc exam. And serigala isn't the only one in danger of the warranty. Me too actually. Still using laptop. Hence the empty spaced sig.

Not sure which card that guy oc-ed btw. Check previous posts.
