my elite 330(2nd rig) use 2x120mm 190cfm delta fan..consume a lot of power,noisy as hell but great airflow...
but i think people should get a 90cfm version from CoolerMaster

my casing have more hole than urs^_^
also always put a glass of water on table..but other side of table la..just use it..CM690 is a good casing..

GC at idle do lower their speed a bit...
shutdown..flip the switch to turbo and u will run at factory OC speed..try to hit 790 core and 1100 mem..

450W psu should be enough for that kind of setup..if u are planning to add another HDD and another 1-2 fan more also ok with that PSU..to save money..u can stick with the current PSU..

but if u want to go for crossfire..u have to upgrade..

yours still true power psu rite?better than me before..my rig setup before i run on extreme power 460w

i green 600w should be enough..more than enough
remove the driver..restart..reinstall the driver..

last nite done OC my gc..damn hard..the memory clock reached it limit 1st..later need to refine tune the mem clock so i can get the max speed..

what impress me is the core temp would not go more than 52c

i cannot oc my mem too much..but i do increase a bit more of core clock..

maybe coz he oc his card and his room temp is great..

dunno yet coz no anouncement..but what i really want HD4870x2 GS version..i will sure buy it..

for normal use will be ok..but if u are a pore hardcore gamer..u can go for GS 1GB version..best u go for HD4870x2..

performance differ on pcie 2 and pcie 1 is negligible..only a bit..but not much..but ur 1GB version should still win the 512 version..maybe coz ur pc hardware and mobo type..different type of hardware have different type of performance..also how u setup ur rig..(ram timing+speed,ram size,OS,HDD seektime)

and dont compare with me..coz my core temp is very low compare to normal that run on stock cooling...low temp,better performance..proven..

As i said before this and promised..here my wc setup picture and some of my OC result..i oc roughly..later i will try to fine tune to get the best result..

U all shall see how i amazingly (and also recklessly) void my GC warranty .ok for me la..coz if i damaged this 1 i can buy a new 1(gainward GS also..or maybe the HD4870x2^_^)..

relax..remember..do it at a big risk..i just destroy any chance for RMAing the card..ok for me coz i have have some budget for the rig(since i restrain myself from getting Intel Q9550 and HD4870x2) and i fully understand the risk involved and my sanity still remain when modifying the card..so..i'm regreting it..i come ready for it..

i think the proc will be bottlenecking the GC performance..

Added on October 16, 2008, 4:18 pmWC has it own downside..will effect the mobo temp..my mobo temp rise quite a lot when i go from aircooling to WC..AirCooling will cool ur mobo also..but in exchange..i got more low proc running temp..

depends on what brand u wanna go..WC usually will cost around 400-1000..but if u go extreme..can reach 2000
