QUOTE(faerieC @ Sep 4 2008, 03:00 PM) erm, continue from previous post. i get milly wif de price rm350. i know, not only feed wif apples. but de sales person say feed also telur rebus(white only) twice a week. i'm not so sure bout tht. so i'm asking.... ------------- ei, how come i cant upload pics ar? i browse de file alrd, but y cannot appear geh? So in order to sell they will often tell you wrong information to make you feel it is really easy to take care of so you will buy it. And they need a variety of different fruits. A different fruit has different nutritional values so feeding a variety is good for your joey. Ah, and insects is a definite must in their diet. Insects like mealworms and crickets are a good protein source which gliders need everyday. Nothing can replace insects in their diet (permanently) since suggies eat insects in the wild. |

But have not edited and upload it yet, will do so asap! I won't be able to catch up on what was left in V7, but thank you for those who PMed me personally with questions If I missed something important and need me to know now, just lemme know again yah QUOTE(faerieC @ Sep 4 2008, 03:00 PM) erm, continue from previous post. i get milly wif de price rm350. i know, not only feed wif apples. but de sales person say feed also telur rebus(white only) twice a week. i'm not so sure bout tht. so i'm asking.... Hi there, You know you shouldn't just feed apples right? There are plenty of edible fruits for suggies out there to explore. We even have a list of them in the 1st page for reference. Try it out! Yes, we can feed our suggies with egg white for protein. Boiled them with plain water and no salt, peel off the skin and mash them to bits before feeding. However, some suggies will eat it and some will not. If you are feeding the mix, it already contains egg Other protein source would be mealworms, crickets and boiled chicken meat. KP |

QUOTE(nezumitaro @ Sep 4 2008, 04:06 PM) Ooo, good idea! Those has been good suggies will get bigger green packets : Super Worm inside! Wahaha Ohh, speaking of which, I have just started giving my monster "Super Worms" yesterday Always wanted to buy them, but the pre-packed one is too expensive and not worth buying cuz some of them might have died and left few only in the container... Then I heard that you can actually find them none packed just like mealworms, but not many places do this lor... Until I had a gut feeling to try that weird, remote fish shop near my place. And wah lah! They got it! Straight away buy lor Back home, gutload and was fascinated at how huge they were! It was an instant hit with my suggies last nite! Finally, they seem to take longer time finishing it rather than those small mealworms I saw Molly struggling with it a bit cuz it's huge, but the rest were okay Gave only 2 Super Worms each. Very happy! KP |
