we can feed those super fat mealworms rite? nt that cheap. saw it in kl d other day, if want to bake, maybe i can help u buy. haha.
still waitng for my glider....
gona die soonn...
Big mealworms? Most likely super worms.... not every glider eats at first. Some are scared LOL.... it takes them some time to learn to eat.
Some people may wanna buy dried mealworms.... but then to me it is quite waste of money coz 80% of mealworms is water... so what is left is 20% skin and some innards. The best mealworms are fresh live mealworms. Why? Coz we gutload them, they get additional nutrients and their moisture content is nutritious.

Everyone's out to make me jealous today. Even Hanzz.
BTW guys, is there such thing as feeding too much slurp? Can feed more than 1 tablespoon?
Well.... it is best not to. Why? Coz you don't wanna make her tummy too full for fruits. You can feed to 2 tablespoons, no problem wan. Just that it is better to stick with 1 tablespoon, so that whatever appetite she has, she can save it for the fruits.

Jamien , exactly what i wanna ask too . My Cady dun like to take a lot of fruits , so sometimes when she doesnt eat so much of fruit & Vege , i will give her more slurp ... any 'maximum' feeding ??
Cady is still not that attach to me yet

, first 3 days dare not come out from the sleeping pouch but now is better .

she dare to come out and i can hand feed her .
Previously i must take her out together with the sleeping pouch in order to feed her food , coz put inside the bowl she also dare not come out to take it . lol

There is no maximum feeding. Just better to feed 1 tablespoon so the rest of her appetite can eat other stuff.
Anyway, I will be producing a new product soon. Gonna be 100% veggie and fruit base, so it means can eat as much as the glider wants to coz it is very good for them. Wait lah, I will hand out samples later on.

thanx for the info crazymouse_yyh, so it means that if i bring her out along wif me in the bonding pouch then i need to let her out often lar? is tat also mean tat i need to get a spare pouch wif me in case she poo or pee in the pouch so she could hav a clean pouch to replace? as i read some previous post in the thread, so said that their glider poo n pee after meal, thus normally when we feed them at nite, so issit means that in the morning they seldom pee n poo? issit ok to giv them some treats or kibbles apart from their meal time as when we play wif them? and wat will be the best choice of treats for them? sorry for all this long nuisance question cos i jus wanna know more as to provide my joey the best care i could....

What we normally do is stuff the pouch with a few pieces of tissue. The tissue would act as a bedding and also to absorb the pee. Well, if your glider is asleep in the pouch, then it won't pee and poo inside.... but when you are carrying the pouch and you feel it has woke up, then take out and let it pee and poo before it goes to sleep again. This would take some time to get used to.
When you play with them, they won't really have much appetite for treats or kibble. Gliders would look forward to mealworms than anything else.
For treats, you can get dried fruit treats for hamsters. Other is yogurt. As for kibbles, go for a high quality cat kibble like Eagle Pack or Orijen, make sure holistic. Gliders love it and it is nutritional for them but limit it to 2 pieces a day.

i tried pear , water jambu , apple , and sweet plum . the worse is apple , she din even bother ! ( but i also dun like apple . hehe )
and among that only pear she finish it , water jambu i squeeze into juice only she take it. sigh
however is it okay to leave the fruits overnite ? or only feed it the next morning ?
How come your glider is so choosy? My gliders eat everything.....
Anyway, yes, leave the fruits overnight. Meaning you put 10pm, you clean it up at 6am or 8am.... coz they do not eat everything one shot, need to eat slowly.
