hey a real big THANK YOU for all the quick replies, cleared a lot of my doubts but i have more doubts, scared i too cheong hei nobody wanna reply dy for those who bring your gliders to work or studies in the bonding pouch, what would you do if they suddenly bark or crab? and those that let your cute pets go free in the room, wont they pee and poo all over the room? man if not for SG not being able to be toilet trained. they would be the most awesome pets around (but they already are awesome) @muchan ya actually i dont really like the idea of storing insects and worms in my fridge and to hand feed them, thats y i asked if gliders could go without them..but from all of the replies i realised its best to let the gliders have rite?

Yup, they taste like nuts. They have a very nice nutty aroma. Yup, safe for human consumption. My crickets are pre-gutloaded with fresh stuff and quality cereals for a few days and cleaned before baking. I personally do eat a bit to test. When my gliders crab or bark or hiss in class, I usually pretend it's my handphone if ppl don't know, but usually the class knows, so I just gently cup them so they stop hissing/crabbing/barking before the teacher complains. Yup, the gathering is still on. The details will be out soon. Wanna try adding some spice to the crickets, roasted crickets glazed with agave nectar? MMmm.... QUOTE(muchan86 @ Sep 11 2008, 12:29 AM) Yep... if the gathering is on I will go to Fluff to join the gathering of course!! Now have Dakota ed.. so wont be so jealous like last time.. Dakota is doin find and she's definitely gain more weight as I can see.. became a lil bit bigger but I still dunno if she's bonded with me yet or not. Cuz I had only bring her out to meet Jamien and she always jumps back to me but only once. Never let her touch by my friend n din really bring her to other place than my room. So I need to bring it out to meet more ppl to see if she's bond with me or not Well If she stays on you most of the time, and when you bring her out she won't jump off I would say she's bonded. Judy for example won't jump off me when she on my shoulders in shopping centres. I'll make sure the bonding pouch is round my neck. Whenever she feels unsafe or not in the mood to be out, she'll just go back into her pouch and peep out. Only when she hears the treats bag, she'll immediately come out.

^ normally after feeding her she will pee n poo after that n sometimes I will found her poo on the floor. Other than that I dun find anything messy. Just make sure ur room is glider proof lar. errr... Dun store the worms inside the fridge lar... it will smells later. What I did was putting the worms into 1 Tupperware and gutload them with the rolled oats. I fed them alive to my glider Seriously u have to try to touch the worms. I was really scared at first but when I tried to fed them to my glider I'm getting less afraid of that I have no problem bring her to college as she dun crab at all gliders only bark at nite so most probably they wont bark at day time.

You can store in the fridge, it'll slow their metabolism and they eat less. A good side to it is that they don't turn to pupa so fast, if I'm not mistaken.

lol, a lil off topic but one of our forumers were thinking to fry mealworms after gutloading with fresh stuff and cleaning. He ask me whether I was interested to try. milo, there was once i went to a family restaurant and Frey decided to be mean and crabbed on top of her voice. So I just pressured her a lil until I got outside the restaurant and takled to her and pet her till she went back to sleep. On the lrt, I just pretend my phone had an sms. Me willing to help too! Let me know if I can help out. This post has been edited by Jamien: Sep 11 2008, 12:46 AM

Mealworms are more difficult as they burn easier, but I'm working with a different equipment than my previous, so will try later on. As for keeping in the fridge, I kept before wor, for few weeks until they finished, they were perfectly alive. Lol, sure, help is always welcome.

lol, my mum hated the fact that my dad kept frozen bloodworms in her fridge. She'll kill me for putting live mealworms in it.
And my RM 1 mealies tend to finish before too many pupate anyway. Plus Roche loves pupa~

Limit is about 10 per day. What do you feed your mealworms with? So far I've got no dead worms yet. Some may be due to health problems.
