I would skip Sony if I have that kind of budget. Or shall I say, LCD TV.
Taukeh mpyw, your preference also quite good. |

QUOTE(ar188 @ Dec 25 2008, 08:37 PM) a85 sharp looks very good with astro. My panny 32 lcd wit astro looks like crap. Have to do with the scaler deinterlacer built in to the tv. which is troublesome. Your maid darn lucky lah. Can watch her personal 32" LCD TV QUOTE Usually la. Business tactics. After complete payment plus interest already double the cash and carry price. This installment scheme options cannot settle early you know. Must pay monthly until final months. blush.gif so, it's a biz gimmick then. I saw the ads too. Nearly fell off my seat Early thoughts can apply for loan, and settle within 3 months. But there are terms and conditions, cannot do that. yawn.gif |

My money on 32A53M. Sony only beats it in rich color. Apart from that, Sharp has 100Hz and better overall PQ.

QUOTE(yeeck06 @ Dec 30 2008, 04:33 PM) I just checked mine. Time - 00211.45 and Count - 0000209 Wow... if that's the case, many poor shops will have their new unopened set being returned for no apparent reason. Opened box is not easy to make it as new. The unopened box normally has one layer of tape only and all the manual and remote are in plastic bag. Most are sealed. Then, you can always check the condition of the box before accepting it. Just my 2 cents. When you get your new plasma, check again the month of mfg lor..... I thought PY800 is being replace by PY850? |

IMHO, the center of the screen at eye level height (when u r seated) would be the best position.

Taukeh, it was mentioned there :
Philips may have the answer to your prayers. Arriving this spring, the electronics giant will being offering its "Cinema 21:9" LCD TVs. Starting with its 56 inch offering, the elongated Cinema TVs will have a native aspect ratio of 21:9. This allows for films to be viewed in their "natural" state: 2.39:1/2.40:1 with no letterbox formatting. Sure, this is great news for movie buffs, but what about watching football or American Idol? According to the press release, "Using highly advanced formatting technology, regular 16:9 content from sources such as TV broadcasts and games consoles is also adapted to fill the 21:9 screen." Still a bit small hor? |
