1) better to change money there ? Or change in SG /MY before going ? My experience in batam and Bali tells me that indo local provide better rate, not sure is it same in Jakarta and bandung

2) 7D6N, enough to visit Jakarta and bandung ? Or should stay at Jakarta only ?

3) if Jakarta and Bandung, how many days in each place ?

4) my fren recommend to stay at Favehotel LTC Glodok for better night life. Any other hotel more affordable and better than this ?

5) in Bandung , any recommended hotel around Bandung ? Prefer around jalan Braga

6) is it better to take direct bus from jakarta airport to Bandung ? How long the duration ? Or I should go to gambir station to take train to Bandung ?

1) you also can change money here. however, change this will take time. as here not many money changer like in bali.

2) jakarta only building. so not many place can go. except shopping. going to bandung is good plan.

3) depends what you like. if like sigthseeing, better stay in bandung 2 - 3 nights. but last night better already in jakarta.

4) you can choose many hotel online. if you like nightlife, stay in mangga besar or mangga dua area.

5) better stay in cihampelas area. many hotel choice also.

6) depends on many thing. if your flight time morning or noon, can go direct bandung by public transport. if arrive jakarta night, can stay one night there..better go to bandung weekday. spend weekend in jakarta. last night must already in jakarta. so you not too rush catch your flight back. jakarta to bandung by car is around 4 hours.

if you're going to both jakarta and bandung, dont forget to drop by to their bogor safari. It's unique because it is something that you cant see in Malaysia.. a safari. They got got a dolphin & sea lion show there. I stayed at the safari's lodge, it was nice because it was very cold because it is located in the middle of the jungle..

Really? Plan to arrive in Jkt and stay over nite then take d train to Bandung from Gambir station. Any suggestions on where to stay near Gambir?

Alternatively will head from airport straight to Gambir for train to Bandung. Prefer Bandung over Jkt ...less jam

If your time of arrival is not too late. There's direct minibus or van from Soekarno Hatta Airport Terminal 2 to Bandung.
The company X-Trans stop at Cihampelas area, ticket price IDR 150k.
Travelling time 3 hours+.
On your way back to Jakarta, you can take the train.

Yes, the journey is quite scenic. Get the executive class or above, with aircond & power socket. Takes 3 hours.
