Just got 1 Red HMPK with 1 Copper HMPK last Thursday..they seems happy with their new tank .. During my childhood..my father always rear Betta and i still remember the first time i met them..they direct caught my attention..they are so different from other fishes we kept..i tot they dance to each other lol..but of course last time there wont be any Halfmoon like today..

It's been a while we din't keep any fish..till last week i went to LFS helping my fren buy fish food..visiting around and i saw there's a lot of good quality Betta..it brings back my childhood memory so i decided to get some and start to rear Betta again..currently busy preparing Betta Corner @ my house .. hopefully can get some nice collection this time.

i have lost about 5-6 breeds already~

hi guys.i have a question abt my betta. last time i used to take this as my hobby during primary school. then now after so many years i start to have them back.

my betta is ok at first. after few weeks his tail start to have small holes and became bigger and bigger untill now quite teruk already. i dont think is physical damage or something coz one my betta fell into basin coz i mishandle it while i change water.then his tail got few place koyak. but after less than a week recover ady.

so i would like to ask what actually happen to it's tail. and what should i do to help him recover? thanks

if the edge of the fin is red in colour then it should be fin rot ..... try getting the medication that treats finrot....

guys cn i knw y betta so sudenly dam expensive.few years back they wer dirt cheap.is it cz they became popular or wt? cz i remember buying a nice betta for 2 bucks 5 years back.noob bout this so sumone explain...

the price depends on the type of betta you are getting ....
currently there's - giants,halfmoon,superdelta,crowntail,halfmoon plakat,normal plakat and veiltail which is the rm2-5 ones .....

dear all, i am new to betta, just got myself 2 bettas... one of them has problem... when it sees the other / itself in mirror, it turns white and run away, it don fight....

is this a desease? under stress? can this cure? or it will be like this forever??

the tail will recover back. but consume time. mybe u can put some medication to make it faster. usually, the medication was used to treat female betta after breeding.

but is like a one peace missing you sure it can grow back? . all right then if you say so i will get betta fix. thanks.

This was a while back, since 2006 – 2009.
Final Year Projects, thesis and work brought this hobby to an end.

My fishes weren’t pure breed or anything.
I bred them for fun (and their colouration), not for commercial sales.
They may be considered below grade levels, but they were awesome fish none the less.

wow.. did u breed all of them? although their tail is not classified as high grade, but some of them did look very2 gorgeous!
the keifier ice meth got an interesting "tooth". hehehehe
