hmm it's about 2 week now.. growth rate seems slow for my fry, they were about 5mm long only .. its this normal ar ?

i'm feeding them with BBS at the moment, I feed them only once a day to avoid the infamous SBD problem. I'm left with about 100 fries to play with, didn't really count also changing about 500ml of water once a week.

You spawn from unker wong line also ar ?

try again bro, don't give up, gua mia 3rd spawn also all bungkus liou due to velvet n uncontrolled temperature. But thank god I'm left with about 20 fry around 1cm to work with from 2nd spawn .. thinking to make $$ from betta memang nonsense lol.

Today gua visited unker wong... apparently he also suffer from those "all hilang" issue, he told me it's due to the rainy season.. cold temp & diseases memang no1 fry killer.

aged water is fresh water from tap kept for few days for chlorine to evaporate. Another alternative is to use anti-chlorine if you don't have spare tank to age water.

wee long time didn't come in here, just to share my latest jar

multi color fresh from grown out tank. Plat white with red wash sire from bro curaptz, ext red dame from unker wong. This cross fix the red wash on caudal, dorsal and anal fin by giving it a red boost on them lol but then introduced some some irid on them sigh.



my last 5 attempt were disastrous, apparently unker wong ER line had too much inbreeding or crossing with DT, most of the juvenile had crooked body or just wont grow lol.

mine took about 2month plus to reach the length about 1.7-1.9 inch.

could be sbd or some dieses infection due to water issue, try change water and put some medication such as nika general aid or yellow powder.
