1) the original bundle posted by fat cat lim had a hdmi cable as part of the bundle
now it has become a lan cable.

2) for the power supply look @ http://corp.sony.com.my/3/pop_up.html. i look at my 40gb and i dun see that box there

actually, at closer look even the composite cable picture looks weird

the 1Xconsole - mentioned 1 console but show console + controller?
the 1Xpower supply - he/she used a pict of power brick of another sony product???
the composite cable - he/she used a pict of S-video cable?
the USB cable - i think mine is very short, much shorter than the pict?
the controller - the full name supposed to be [DUALSHOCK 3 SIXAXIS]

1) What HDMI cable? When did I ever post about the bundle coming with an HDMI cable??? The press release that I posted stated that the PS3 comes with an HDMI output, not cable.

2) That's rather strange. Probably another mistake. Will notify Sony Malaysia tomorrow.

Yes, this was exactly what I was referring to.
The information from the Sony site is very misleading
It clearly states Sixaxis and DS3 on another side(contradicting info) . Way to go Sony

someone made a mistake by showing the picture of the psu. the ps3 has a built in universal psu. it has been that way since the ps3 was launched in 2006.
even the pic of hdmi cable and lan cable is a mistake because the ps3 doesn't come with hdmi and lan cable. it only comes with a standard AV composite cable for SDTV. if you want hdmi you gotta go buy it yourself.
i think someone in sony malaysia is going to lose his job for posting those pics online...

All PS3s can play games from any region. HOWEVER, the Blu-ray movies that you can play are region-specific.

Bluray disc is region free. only DVD still region lock. you cant play other region DVD with PS3 other than the one specific where the console is sold.
