Err not gonna bother with the event. Nothing I cannot get elsewhere. MGS4 Gunmetal Edition was priced at RM1800 when i got it, even though its the japanese set. I may get another PS3(malaysian version) if its the FF13 Edition like I mentioned before.

Yeah, when we first got the news, it was tentatively RM1,699. But the price has since then been revised to RM1,799. You'll also note that the number of cash vouchers given away has been increased to 120, and the bundle also includes more items too.

Although it is unfortunate that some of our regular readers may not be aware of the new revised price, at least the difference is only off by RM100. Not to mention that our readers at least has a confirmation of the place and date of the event.

I don't know, but I'm assuming (note: "assuming" as I haven't spoken to my contact yet) that there should be enough to accommodate those who want to buy the bundled units without queuing up for the cash voucher. Sony Malaysia should be experienced enough to estimate the number of units to bring to the launch event.

The bundle comes with 1 (ONE) DS3 controller.

If in doubt, please check the 1st official press release that I had initially posted. It CLEARLY says that the new PS3 to be launched in Malaysia comes with the DS3 controller. Yes, the website info is a little inaccurate, but I believe it's just a simple error.

Frankly speaking, I'm getting a little tired of explaining the same thing over and over. Aiyoh, it wouldn't make sense for Sony to bundle an outdated controller with a new unit...

Added on September 11, 2008, 11:27 pmI don't really know because (1) I'm not a Sony employee and (2) I don't have access to the floor plan. But I was initially told that it was an outdoor event.



If I'm not mistaken, it should be at the Guest Drop Off / Taxi stand in front of U Parkson and Giant (aka, the New Wing). There's a little outdoor area there where some events are sometimes held there. A few months back, the Indie Youth Fest also took place there with local bands playing just outside there. I'll try get more info tomorrow if this area is indeed where the launch is going to take place.

Don't know explain how many times for the PS3 package will include Sixaxis or DS3.
Should take note that HK, SG also realeasing this model. Is the same model. Is DS3.

The first page actually has all of the latest info. jehutyz has been doing a great job updating it. jehutyz, perhaps you can update the title to include the words "(read first post for more info!)" so that people can refer to your post?
