hi would RM1599 pakage be avail on launching day? cos the tote bag and cd holder are not attractive at all, and i dont line SCIV or any of those free games. so can i get this basic pakage on launching day? thx

Yup..I saw the ad on sun newspaper also today. It retails for RM1799 with 2 games. First 120 buyers will receive some kinda bag. I think RM1599 is the standard package without any games. Although expensive, I think it is very much worth it. 80gb model with backward PS2 compatibility as well as multi card reader c/w 4 x usb port (correct me if I'm wrong).

Too bad I've bought a 40gb version 1 1/2 months ago...sad sad...else i would have gone for the 80gb one. I bought RM1330 c/w dualshock 3.

As i know there won't be console only for sale.
It will bundle with something even after launch day.

This 80GB is same as your 40GB feature.
The only different is the HDD which is double up from 40GB and it come with Dual Shock 3.

it's really the "enhanced" one, it's the latest model but without card reader and less 2 more usb ports and no ps2 bc..

but it's still nice because it's come with DS3 rather of the "stupid controller which self proclaimed cant add vibrator in it" aka SIXAXIS.

and also with local warranty and added up from 40gb to 80gb. it still come with 2 usb ports thou...

steal my idea?

Wonder if there will be anyone wearing the SCIV Premium Edition T-Shirt (to show off) on that day . By the way...does anyone know if there will be only limited titles (like those that are included in the package) or there will be other PS3/PSP titles available on the day of the event as well ?

I am just worried that last minute they call you up and told you that was a mistake in the bundle or maybe told you to wait another few weeks before you can get your PS3 while everyone else already order from sonystyle and got theirs. I asked in Queesnbay before and that guy told me they won't be getting ps3 till october.. they can only backorder and no bundle. I hope Eddy knows what exactly it is.

FatCat told us once that even in launch .. the RM1,799 bundle is only available with limited stocks (probably for the first 120ppl) even on the launch day.

I hope whatever eddy says is true.

As far as i know it is not legal in M'sia if a shop ask you to pay extra to use credit card although this is practice by most of handphone outlet. You can actually complain to FOMCA. Sony is a big company and i dont think they will ask for xtra 3% if use credit card

and on top of you forgot to mention, the new 80GB actually runs on 65nm processor which saves energy compared to the older 80GB which has PS2 compatibility.
