Hope Sony will release the details on pre-order asap.
I want to know what's the procedure. Do I need credit card? Never done this before. sweat.gif

Already bought ticket to KL. Still, looking for other option. If pre-order is better, I'll take it.

It's the same for all electronics regardless which country unit. You can send to service center and just pay for repair service.

Added on September 15, 2008, 9:55 amWonder if anyone ask their maids to line up for them, like those property launch.

guys, a little help here, i was in the sonystyle to make the pre-order and ask for the installment pay with the c.card, they said need to pay extra 2-4% depends on the credit card u use, EVEN with A SonyCard~~~ unsure.gif

and they demand a rm 300 deposit per unit (Which is im already paid for 2 unit) the question is, how this extra 2-4% comes for? by the time the sales person explain i not quite sure what he meant.... rclxub.gif

btw, i was in Sunway Canival Mall (Butterworth,Penang) Sonystyles outlet.
a Sales Person call Eddy with a warm welcome smile who served me. laugh.gif
told me that the package comes with Soul Calibur 4 and a selected PS3 games, which is chosable from the 4 title that publish from the official website. just they need to confirmed the booking by paying rm 300 deposit. sweat.gif my poor wallet.... sweat.gif

You sure they can give you the RM1,799 package with SC4 + PS3 game? the last i heard those are only available during the launch in 1Utama...

I have a feeling that those sony shops from butterworth/penang will be doing backorder.. and might be slow in getting the PS3. I am from penang also but i'll be driving down to KL for the launch.. feeling safer to get the bundle that way.

See all you guys at the launch! icon_rolleyes.gif

The surcharges is applied to all of the electronics items anywhere. Whether u buying your electronics item from internet (lelong, ebay, lyn forumers) , supermarket (giant, tesco, carrefour), electronics shops (HSL, SenHeng, SenQ), the sellers will inform you about the surcharges if you use credit card. Because they need to pay for the credit card services too, but the charges are transfered to the consumers. Last time food and beverage services have this surcharge but they have been banned for this charges (maybe because of small amount onli or it is barang keperluan). But it still applied to electronics items (maybe this is because it is not barang keperluan laugh.gif ).

Okay, some bad news. I've been informed by Sony Malaysia that the online pre-order bundle is now limited to Special Sony Club members, so it's no longer "first come first serve".

I'm not quite sure what he meant by 'Special Sony Club' members, but I'm guessing the bundle is now limited only to regular Sony Club customers instead of the general public.

I know what you mean...but I guess they wanted to give some more value to their Sony Club members. We also try to do the same thing for our magazine subscribers.

Yeah.. i think those who bought by full payment credit card will not have the extra % charge while those doing the installment will charge you a small amount for processing fee

installment.
i asked will there be any discount if i pay in full, the sales person said no.
then i just go ahead with the easy payment.
perhaps the price listed already calculated with the surcharges.
