QUOTE(SSJBen @ Sep 1 2008, 05:31 PM) Mind telling me what are some of those bugs? Actually, basically people get into a queue to play SCIV. If you lose 2 out of 3 sets, you need to go back to the end of the queue while the winner stays to take on other challengers. If that winner loses next time around, he'll also go back to the end of the queue. At the end of the 24 hours, the top 8 people with the highest number of wins will be selected for the semifinals. I've been in SC3 tourneys before, but I doubt it'll be anything the same interms of the rules and regulations. My guess is that they will just do those crappy "seeding" style of competition. Who-ever wins, moves on until the last man standing. I'm not sure whether I should post the rules here, or post it as a separate thread in the Console forum. What do you think? I see. How many stations will be set up for the competition then?I'm not sure whether I should post the rules here, or post it as a separate thread in the Console forum. What do you think? Yes post the rules here, this is a Playstation only event after-all. |

SIXAXIS controllers stopped production in July, so its a safe bet to say that this will come with a DS3.
Unless of course this is left-over stock way back till before the MGS4 80GB bundle, which seems rather ridiculous anyways. |

Wondering how much the HDMI cable gonna cost in Sony when you buy in bundle
Anyway those of you who would want to get the cheaper + reliable HDMI cable just grab it from PA before the launch |

Safe yourself from the hassle buying from PA, go to Jalan Pasar's electronic shops. That Girrafe HDMI cable is all over the place there, price is about RM35-40 last I checked.

What about those character that currently has Infinite attack combos in the game? are they banned then?I'm not sure whether I should post the rules here, or post it as a separate thread in the Console forum. What do you think? And what about button mapping, how are you going to solve the different button configuration, does that means no button mapping since no one is playing the same configuration in their house? ( In fact button mapping is not even legit in some tournament ) And what about characters that cause weird Just frame input bugs, the ring out bugs ? You will receive a lot of complains if someone somehow win with one of the things mentioned above. I still suggest you pick tekken 5 DR over SC4. |

BTW, I just tried the SC4 demo and indeed yes there is a rather apparent ring out bug. I was using Nightmare and I used his charged upper-slash and my opponent was actually on the opposite side of the ring out edge(I was on the edge). But some how during in the air my opponent just got a "twitch" and landed outside the ring instead. Its just a demo, so I can't say for which has the Just frame bug inputs. |
