QUOTE(nles @ Dec 27 2008, 09:35 PM) Hmm what u mean by stain anyway. wat i mean is wat had done on DeepCool product, their copper heat pipe is stain with nikel( if not mistake)If paint of course only paint the copper heatpipe which is used to transfer the heat, then aluminum fins dissipate the heats. more or less will effect haha, eager to try. QUOTE(chyu89 Posted Today @ 09:56 PM) I want to try oxy gas burn my heatsink to have purple burnt effect. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Dec 28 2008, 10:56 AM) I'm using the Gigabyte EP45-UD3P mobo currently and i am looking for a cooler which will fit in perfectly without any mods or tweaks,as i've heard thr large heatsink on the mobo itself prevent many coolers out there from being installed perfectly can u post ur mobo photo here for reference? and on the other hand recommend me other coolers out thr which can fit perfectly. |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Dec 28 2008, 06:40 PM) Yep,the heatsink had been a problem for many coolers out there. vote for xigmatek 1283/1284 i done some googling and found a list of coolers suitable for this board http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.as...hreadid=2252023 CoolerMaster V8 CoolerMaster Hyper 212 CoolerMaster Z600 Thermalright TRUE OCZ Vendetta 2 Thermaltake MaxOrb ZEROTherm ZEN ZEROTherm Nirvana Xigmatek 1284 i'm interested with the Hyper 212 and s1283/1284 now.which is better? 1283 can take normal version or RS; 1284 can take normal version or Achilles both of thm use 8mm heat pipe and HDT tech; hyper 212 is 6mm heat pipe Added on December 28, 2008, 8:16 pm QUOTE(chyu89 @ Dec 28 2008, 03:09 PM) Example,if u give me a CCF, i'll say u the best person ever, u throw me with a CCF, i'll hate u forever. BTW, by the theory of fan CMF, thy should class like this: DK s1283 > RS s1283 > HDT s1283 DK 89.45CMF, RS 61.375CMF, HDT 56.3CMF This post has been edited by cdlim87: Dec 28 2008, 08:16 PM |

QUOTE(Silverfire @ Dec 29 2008, 02:50 AM) with psu as top exhaust is totally not enuf to handling it, sure will not work as well as other top exhaust fan..., as the psu fan not so high CMF, and it is still hv a room infront psu that will trap the hot air there... unless mod the casing QUOTE(celciuz Posted Today @ 08:51 AM) sing 2x 14cm fan on it. Evercool RedScorpion or something. Forgot the brand already. I disabled one of them when I put it side ways though, cause when the first fan is turned on, the CCF's fan rpm seem to drop a little.. Macam not enough air ._. Anyways, the difference between idle and load is the same as my other setup facing top. Oh another thing is... I touched my northbridge heatsink and my graphics card heatsink.. which both shows roughly below 40C.. They all felt warm.. But my CCF feels cold >.< although the CPU is idling at 35-40C. When loading at 60C+ also it feels cold @@. Definitely not as warm as the northbridge and the graphic card. Bad thermal transfer from CPU to my CCF? or is it faulty thermal diode? =(. u r using fan speed controller by CCF? or u direct plug into mobo...?? if u plug into mobo directly, mayb whn u turn on the 1st fan, the cpu temp drop and make the CCF rpm drop?? this is control by smart Q fan inside BIOS (**mayb bad thermal transfer? if u using fan controller, u try slow down the CCF fan speed to minimum for few min, thn try with max speed, see any large diff there.... if no diff the mayb is really bad heat transfer frm ur proc to CCF, but i blive this will not happen.. |
