I used it previously.. not bad.. better than kaspersky in term of speed of scanning and less resouces taken.

But I still prefer NOD32

Prevent is better than cure
browse web carefully, and always monitor your PC(I use winpatrol), set up uber firewall, any data attemp to come into must have my permition, downdload software from official webpage instead of mirror, or fully trustable webpage like cnet, zdnet etc.

If you feel you got hacked, or something strange to your PC cut the wire off

edit: add more info

How to effectively blockout ads, viruses, trojans etc?

1. Have a firewall in place
2. Patch your OS, especially Win2k and XP to the latest security patches
3. Install an anti-virus software and update regularly
4. Don't browse pornograhpic or websites that can potentially install spywares/adwares on your PC
5. Becareful when opening un-identified emails

Those are just basic preventions. As for which anti virus software is the best, there's no definite answer to it. Usually how user PC infected by virus? I will blame it on the users. Users just don't have the knowledge to protect themselves. Once infected by viruses, they blame it somewhere else.

Just to let you know, as a professional user, my PC was never infected by any viruses or spywares for around a year. Believe it or not. User awareness! Prevent is better than cure. Not all anti virus software is 100% effective...

actually the greatest AV is call "Rising Antivirus" but only available in china...some ONLY lincensed user can update...

come to us no choice but to use Kaspersky or nod32

Kaspersky is good but have side effect while playing pc game...
NOD32 no problem at all but detection not strong enough...
