kaspersky has no shareware for both personal and professional version, only has trial ware for 30 days period.......
*
Opps...I thought shareware = trial ware... blush.gif because they always have the testing period...

db07mufan, I'm using NOD32 2.5, it's working very well, so far no virus kena..only the stupid spyware... doh.gif

QUOTE(Icehart @ Dec 22 2005, 04:00 PM)
erm..btw..I heard NOD32 better than kaspersky antivirus ... anyone can confirm this?  smile.gif
*
Definitely not in the detecting power. In some tests, Kaspersky overtake NOD32 but I haven't seen any test about the NOD32 2.5 comparing to the Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Pro. smile.gif Therefore I can't say that which one is better...

Not actually, I think it's in the top 10 in the ranking list.

DID U TEST IT YET? COZ HE SAID it firewall so strong until no1 can attack through.  sweat.gif
*
I didn't test it because I don't have the virus samples and something else. Every firewall can be attacked if someone want to do it because there isn't any strongest fortress in this world. smile.gif You should search some reviews about the anti virus software to check whether it is the strongest. biggrin.gif I personally prefer Agnitum Outpost Firewall. smile.gif

I think Kaspersky has the best virus detection, even compared to NOD32. However it also uses more resources than NOD32.
*
I think the Sixth version will use less resource. smile.gif

cool...consider switch to NOD32 later.how about virus scanning on NOD32?fast or not?my kaspersky used 30mins to fully scan my pc sweat.gif ....

NOD32 is scanning faster than Kav. (Full scan)

Pip_x, real time protection is on by default. I think what he means is to get stronger protection. smile.gif

Me dun care how slow it will make my systemto be, me just wan the best detection and removal of the antivirus, which one?
Plz tell me!

EDIT: No need tell me it's Mcafee or NOD32 already coz me had tested both and it real suck in detection and real-time protection. Now me using Norton, real-time protection is very good but unable to remove completely some viruses...
*
That's strange, so far, NOD32 serves me very well. I think you should try Kaspersky, the best in the world ...
