yeap...in testing stage for all free AV available tongue.gif...now using AVS pretty good though even a bit cacat. i tried to use Avira, it said expired key even though self-generated (and it's free edition) doh.gif

You may uninstall the old version and install the latest release available on the net.For Avira Antivir.

anybody tried b4 Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition? is quite good in detection compare to other free antivirus. but is has no auto update, u must manually press live update.
can also manage whole network antivirus.

lol..i forgot what kind of viruses I "accidentally" put last time...the interface quite simple, not like Norton Antivirus, and memory consumed is low...ah well

Symantec norton anti virus corporate edition has varies of versions ,Don't know which one you're mentioned to.

But general speaking,It's ideal for server system and some of it may not compatible with some windows version(e.g. windows xp)

SAV apparently requires lesser resource compared with KAV

in fact, KAV was my 1st choice but it caused disruptions toward some programs

i tried to update new definition for TrendMicro, but failed, it says...


"Unable to connect to the server. There may be a problem with the server or the network, or the proxy information is incorrect.

Please contact your OfficeScan administrator for assistance."

i'm connected to the internet, as i can download other files too...

I'm talking this version-Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition 7.51.
It will disable your USB-removable devices while you enabled the real time monitoring.But works perfectly in windows 2000.
