IAFM is controlled by vacuum pressure la, when u hit certain pressure it will open. If its VIM like the CPS then its controlled by ECU. When at idle the vacuum is at the highest and when u open the throttle the vacuum drops, once the vacuum pressure drops to a certain point the runner will switch.

if u need to pay for it, then maybe u wanna go look for some side mirrors which r more aerodynamic n can create downforce for ure car. mine seems to vibrate alot when i hit 140km/h. not aerodynamic at all.

aiya.. my side mirror cracked itself when i'm running at high speed 120KM/h, and i try to adjust the mirror then it cracked.. i understood, it's PROTON ma..

mine vibrate like hell at 110KM/h already, i really fed up with the pair of side mirror, anyone know where can get better side mirror ?

one thing i worry is once proton doesn't admit this as product defect and the worse case should i buy a total new set of mirror? or can just replace the cracked mirror itself only? and how much would it be ?

New car also need so much product meh....just wax it would be more than enough and maintain the waxing. You only do this when the car gets old and the paint is dull already.
*
Wash -> Wax alone isn't enough to bring back new car look. blush.gif smile.gif
If you read carefully, i m doing washing->Claying->paint cleaning->polish out some scratches->Wax(sealant) and Interior & exterior vinly/plastic grooming, conditioning only.

Furthermore, the car is few months down the road, few thousands kilometres run, frequent travelling at night(highway drive). Washing alone may not be enough to remove dirt, i definitely don't want to wax and seal unless proper cleaning done.

just fyi..
New car is deliver by truck, before it reach dealer/sales branch. The paint has contaminants, sales agent then take it for rm3 ringgit wash. Oh my god, more scrathes and swirls because of wrong washing technique! So, you are left with a not so "new" car before someone collect it. hehehe.

a)Wash - > Washing alone is not enough to clean the paint. There's contaminants embedded, surface feels gritty.

b) Clay -> So-called "Plastesin", i used to play it when i was a kid..Clay is the step to safely exfoliates contaminants such as brake dust, industrial fallout, gravel marks.

c) Cleaning -> Water marks! how do someone remove water marks, bird pool etching by washing alone?? Unless you are using super strong dish washing detergent +cloth washing powder ??not sure.. wink.gif ??
Notice the fender, lower door panel, bumper area with small small black dot, it is mostly Road Tar unsure.gif Washing alone can remove?? wink.gif ..AerosolTar remover or paint clean can clean with much ease.

d) Polish - >Only used it for necessary parts whereby paint cleaner cannot CUT into the paint. Area like side step which has shoe scratches marks..PAINT cleaner doesn't help either lor. Abrasive polish can cut and level out the scratches, bring back smooth and glossy finish.

e) Wax -> Zaino Show Car Polish Z2 and Z5 are not POLISH. Z2/Z5 are syntethic sealant(Wax). Dunno why Zaino name their wax as polish, the only abrasive polish in Z line up, is Z-PC and Z-AIO(mild cleaner).

I am picky about wax/sealant stuff, whenever it comes to dark color paint..carnauba wax has the advantages ! Light/white paint, synthetic sealant which does not containt carnauba is my preference.

aiyoo crazy laa. using plastx on a brand new headlamp???  doh.gif

and best thing why polish a brand new car? wax only enuff la
*
Why not PlasTx ?
Night+midnight driving at highway, 1month left unwashed. See the dead body insect stain + unknown dirt stick at clear plastic. Washing alone can remove aar? wink.gif wink.gif

Zaino Show car polish is not Polish, the brand of products is misleading. I am not sure why their name it as polish..

Z2 , Z5 are synthetic sealant(wax)

The only polishing part to do is Megs scratchX and Z-PC to polish out some area scratches(Rear bumper). Just doing a quick comparsion between Megs ScrathX & Z-PC..both products hardly remove paint defect by Hand. Need machine wink.gif wink.gif

u did polish + wax urself?with the polishing machine ar?how much for that stuff?
*
Above steps are more on wash->clay->paint cleaning-> wax ->interior grooming

Already reply post above. Yeap..no need polish, the only part i used to polish is rear bumper and lower door panel(side step which has deep scratches)

I am not using any machine..all by hand. Previously, spent rm80 on china made, random orbit machine which bought from GIANT. Used it for 3times, dump it into stockroom.the machine generate freaking loud noise, vibrate my hand too much and doesn't cut into the paint. wink.gif
