im not sure about top selling, coz thats not the point, especially for death metal bands (maybe sepultura, back in max cavalera's days). but if most influential, i would say morbid angel, death, deicide (did i spell it right?) are among top ten. this is just my opinion tho smile.gif

so u more to melodic-thrash i assume, mcbarney666. the way i see it, kreator always have this cool melodic thrash riff that always stick in minds, sodom in the other hands, more 'kasar'.

i like kreator too, well not a big fan tho, but i think they're great. went to see em live back in 2006 (was is 2006? i forgot when they came d ar...) really an unforgettable experience.

nice nick iblis, sil khannaz is a great bad, i like em too, but lately they came out with all this crappy stuff, especially the darah muda album.

hm, DT album for starters? it really depends. u might want to try out metropolis : scene from a memory. after images and words, DT had a hard time making new stuff, since InW was a big hit. they found their 'groove' and their trademark in SFAM. Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence also not bad, one of DT finest album ever.
