there's a dvd on the 'reunion' of anthrax with belladonna...doing some concert somewhere and dan spitzx back on guitar...that one is pretty cool! another video of Anthrax that i liked was they did a gig in Hammersmith Odeon UK back in the late 80s...personally i stopped listening to Anthrax when Joey left the band...Anthrax used to have this 'fun' attitude which i guess got lost when Joey lost...luckily Scott Ian is still there to bring in the noise.

btw - u guys should check out this video...GET THRASHED: THE STORY OF THRASH METAL ...

http://www.getthrashed.com/

after watching it, i kinda have the impression that that thrash metal was inevitable invented by Dave Mustaine when he wanted to go heavier than any bands of that time :>

and there's another cool documentary back in the early 90s about the thrash bay area scene...forgot the titl, but it showcased all the great bands of the era. oh how i miss those days!!!

luckily now we have Arch Enemy - to me this band is really bringing back all the metal glory with great riffs, pounding drumbeats, damn melodic solos and powerful vox sung by a relativelyh hot babe! - coz i'm sick of all these silly nu-emo-metal crap where eveyone wanna play low notes and no guitar solos at all!

we will rise!

GET THRASHED: THE STORY OF THRASH METAL ...i'd watched it..but sadly, there's no review about the legendary Possessed..who amongst the pioneers of Bay Area Thrash Metal...maybe bcoz they are no more now...

NEBIRAS!

"Lord" Nebiras...but i heard from my friend, that this legendary black metal was banned to play in any gig...no permit will be issued when their name appeared in the gig flyer...last time, when i watch Rator played, the guitarist for this show are members of Bazzah n Bassist from members of Nebiras, Agathos Daemon....

Count Grishnack just released he's new album-Burzum "Belus", i think he's losing his voice in the cell....his vocals slightly different from the old album...

Impiety, a singaporean black metal band nowadays has become a big band... i remembered when the last time armageddon album was hitted the world metal music back in 1999 and they did a lot of tour worldwide after that.. They're now influencing a lot of norwegian, finnish and swedish band too biggrin.gif

Added on March 26, 2010, 8:33 pm
maybe you should listen to experimental industrial + dark + techno + black metal (mixed in their music) band like Dodheimsgard too biggrin.gif

Impiety is a big band since it was formed....but line-up keep on changin...only Ariffin, the front man left...last time a members from Mexican brutal death metal band, Hacavitz joined as a sessionist...now Impiety's line up are mostly a pakistan metalhead who work in Singapore...n latest news that i heard, Impiety show in Japan will only consist Ariffin, the other line up are from Japan metal band but i forgot the band name...HAIL IMPIETY..."The beast they proud to be, the beast of IMPIETY"
