you don't wanna mess with Dave Mustaine.

watch around 1:35 for Mustaine part. He did the unorthodox.

it didn't go down well with Mustaine but look at the woman at the right side, she was laughing when Guillermo said that to Mustaine, lolzzz.

Rare Call of Ktulu performance by Metallica from latest Big 4 show Gothenburg, Sweden:

*
It's a real pain in the ass to download the vids one by one. It would be nice if the entire show is uploaded as one file. I remember, someone uploaded the whole Metallica's performance at Rock Am Ring. I wish somebody would do the same for this Big Four as well.
By the way, that Rock Am Ring show was freakin' awesome. They have the best crowd. Bands just love to play there. thumbup.gif

2 weeks left to Wacken.. cant wait for Trivium & As I lay Dying.
This two metalcore bands combine in 1 show make me no more thinking to buy the ticket on the same day it was announced.
Damn even autograph session clashes..probably have to skip HSB for Trivium autograph.

I listen to every kind metal music, nothing suck, its their expression in their genre and I have to respect them.

Found 2 other Malaysians on FB will go. Will join them this year smile.gif
*
where is this Wacken festival located?
u going to see all metal bands, I really envy u.
anyway, have fun headbanging & remember to post some pics here when u get back. smile.gif

They did a song called "Follow Me" with Nightwish's Anette Olzon. I like that track.

Those indians fans are really pissed. Can't really blame them though, waited all their lives to see the band & then this happens. What a shame. sad.gif

Hopefully not a con like Metallica in Malaysia story...
I'll pass, not worth of my time paying more than hundred bucks but expecting sound system/effects not as good as Wacken. Have many autograph copies and pic with them already. Hope you guys enjoy(if its really confirmed)
*
Ahhhh yes, the guy who label Metallica as lame has returned. Wassup dude, went on a hiatus lately?

The black guy that replaced Max Cavalera just doesn't seem to cut it for me. I rather listen to Cavalera Conspiracy. Just got hold of their new album.

To come to think of it, there aren't many black guys that fronts a metal band.

QUOTE(rEDS @ Oct 16 2011, 06:48 AM)
This thread become lame with invading metallica and megadeth..the appreciation of other fantastic metal decrease. its like everything metal must have metallica in it. lame.

I even skip metallica in abu dhabi next week. because its lame already + expecting many idiotic local fans for that crap. Why? If you attend desert rock festival previously you will know.

that Hirax guy reminds me of Lenny Kravitz. laugh.gif

other black frontman that i can think right off the top of my head is Killswitch Engage & Sevendust.

"we need our own mike varney to raise our own malmsteen.. "

What!? i dont understand what you mean mate...care to elaborate ?

anyways, sleepsnore has a valid point - our media (press, radio, freedom for journalists and broadcasters) are very restricted.
how many of you remember the last time our radio station actually playing any metal songs?  i remember in the 80's they even used to play iron maiden....

btw - to all those who are confirmed going to the arch enemy concert - just would like to know how many of you are planning to bring a black flag ? seems like on this tour, AE is encouraging folks to bring it to the concert!
*
I remember during mid 90's, there was this DJ on THR FM, he plays metal music during weekends. If u think playing Iron Maiden is considered "gempak", this DJ plays music that's way heavier than Maiden. He play's the type of metal where no other DJ dares to play. I discovered many bands through his show. He had bands coming on his show & there was a time where he managed to interview James Hetfield over the phone. That's right u heard me, James Hetfield!!! Even I couldn't believe it.

Hats off to this DJ. notworthy.gif

Weird song. Lot of symbolism, i bet this will not go unnoticed by conspiracy theorist. Nevertheless, still a catchy song. For that reason, i can understand if people think it's not true metal and don't belong here.  But it's under Century Media label; you can also get their summer sampler here. Beware of crap audio quality and crap tagging.
*
Weird indeed. Shouldn't be in metal thread but hey at least there's tits in it, +1 for that. smile.gif
