LoL..17"  sweat.gif Thinking of FC after changed it. BTW..Y Waja thread no TT?  laugh.gif
*
hmm.. FC does effect when changing ur rims.. plus performance oso
when changing into bigger size hav to consider weight rims + tyres
coz my rims r weighting 620kg.. even tough ringan.. but the tyres will ++ extra weight
that time got feel performance abit slow.. FC got abit fast.. (no performance mod yet that time)
but after change muffler into s-flow got better in term off performance and FC
now got add pivot VS + grounding my FC is around 11km/L with light pedal press
now i'm trying to check how much with fast drive.. hehehe

Mythelogy LCP and exhaust system.. biggrin.gif  want performance sure makan a bit, unless maintain same driving style after performance up.

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Sep 2 2008, 01:01 PM)
Mythelogy ....my favorite....
*
Yup.. honestly and frankily speaking,no such things as increase performance with low fuel consumption,it is ridiculous..if we want performance, must sacrifice FC..once u mod your engine, the fuel ratio is already different.. nod.gif

since in budjet right now.. my list goes for
i) UTR drop-in air filter
ii) mythelogy LCP

in future budjet :
i) works AFR
ii) adj. cam gear
iii) 4-2-1 header

money2!! sweat.gif

DiYing ur grill hmm.gif

Stuff to find :
i. flat black high tempr. Spray (optional as its ur choice of colour)
ii. for the plastic cover i use those white motorcycle plastic body.. (kepuk)
u can get it for Rm10.. using honda cup c70 one can buy at motor spare part shop
iii. diy grill mesh can get at accessories shop
iv. any small saw.. as i'm using steel saw (handy use)
v. pengasah thingy.. to smooth things up few of sand paper also
vi. strong glue.. plastic or pvc glue.. high tension double-sided tape also can

Here's how..
i. cut the 2 lowest line of the grill.. there is 5 lines
it should be like this

user posted image

user posted image

ii. the take the diy grill mesh.. and measure the area where the previous line had been cut
using paper or paper board.. this is to get the shape right
then place it on the grill mesh cut into the shape... its a try and error
until it is well placed

user posted image

user posted image

iii. ok.. since the grill hav 5 lines.. now too cover the other 3
using paper or paper board measure and get the shape right and cut it
try to put it on top so that the angle and shape will cover most off the 3 lines

user posted image

then draw it on the plastic kepuk.. and cut using the saw..

user posted image

user posted image

there maybe not straight or certain angle wont fit.. so just grind it
also smooth the edges so it looks nice and smooth

iv. then paint.. u need to sand-paper the plastic surface 1st so the paint will stick

user posted image

v. then glue all the stuff to their places right.. i just use double-side tape like the one
those accessories shop use to stick the bodykits to the car..

then walla.. done biggrin.gif

where u get that?

Added on September 7, 2008, 8:19 pmok guys, a good friend my mine battery exploded and the acid got into his eyes. 1st 3days his can't see anything as he's suffering serious cornea damage. Discharge on saturday and now he can see a little but still not fully recover.

the indicident happen when he stop his car and after cool down awhile he open up the cap to check the battery water and it exploded without any signals.

lucky him that all the plastic and metal did not stuck to his eyes but there are few very close and few cm away from his eyes.

so guys, if possible change to dry cell.

Your absorber stock? hows your ride?bumpy?
*
yup.. stock absorbers.. nope.. not bumpy..
coz actually..
R3 Performance Spring Kit provides lowered ride height for improved centre of gravity,
excellent roll control and taut ride characteristics without sacrificing comfort. Specifically developed
to work with standard dampers. Quote this from, R3 : Waja and Gen.2 MME Edition

by using these springs set.. ur standard abs. can less longer.. and if the abs. is worn off
u can only change for a new standard sets.. its cheaper then having to change all new sets of respective brand icon_rolleyes.gif

i'm wondering which one will be lower, R3 spring or Eibach prokit. I still unable to finalize it yet need more input from other user. I'm looking for slightly lower ride as i'm going to change to 55 series tyre after current 60series worn out.

Tein spring is really that good? how about the stiffness compare to R3 & Eibach.
*
Tein springs i dunno much about the stiffness and all.. but its hav various type
such as street luxury High-tech and street dress up s-tech.. maybe each type hav its own stiffness and comfort
ratio.. but lots off waja owner go for tein's adjustable and claim its good

QUOTE(Tainted @ Sep 9 2008, 09:38 PM)
A seller at Garage Sale quoted me RM220 for waja front and rear lowered spring.

What do you all think? Brand is SAPURA PRO-RIDE and is claimed to have 'superb performance'.
*
QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Sep 9 2008, 09:46 PM)
i heard sapura is the manufacturer of R3 spring...but dunno how true is that.
*
hmm.. if according to zen sapura is R3 spring manufacturer.. it could be
Sapura Pro-Ride spring good also.. but hav to check weather it actually go for performance or comfort..
coz R3 spring put balance on both..
Coz R3 (race.rally.research) is actually rebranding other brands
exp : for waja.. those R3 extractor heard from brother is actually hotbit's but cant really confirm that hmm.gif
for wira the exhaust system came from powerzone
and too top this up.. the research R3 done that made them can rebrand those famous brands is compare and match
each parts to proton cars setting for performance and not sacrificing comfort plus maintainability wise..
in other words.. R3 is reliable for proton.. like toyota - trd hehehe
my 2 cents icon_rolleyes.gif
