hie all.
it seems the problem "read umd at startup (while no umd) + home button function pop up wile playing game" is a quite famous nowadays. i googled for some answers and stumbled upon "corrupted idstorage". can somebody please confirm this using dcv7 with idstorage regeneration will fix my psp. |

QUOTE(Playboy21 @ Dec 2 2008, 06:24 PM) beautifoolgirl, before attempting to regenerate your IDstorage using DC7, you can always try to format your flash 1. To do so, go to recovery mode -> Advanced -> Format flash 1. If the same problem still occurs, go to the gathering, meet up with benwong (I believe he has a DC7 stick), and regenerate your IDstorage. format flash1 > done > confirmed > kenot fix |

the shop owner is so eager to help me that he wud even let me use his pandora+dc7 stick for free > 2 times. save my rm60 $$$ kachink but the bad news is. idstorage regen does not resolve my psp problem. i'm beginning to think this is a hardware related case. there are 2 ways to fix this. i tell u the 1st fix is get a umd to sit tightly in umd slot. any umd oso can. either game, movie, even that chotto shot umd oso can. the second one is not for the fainted heart. i'm not gonna show without high enough demand in here. |

QUOTE(cheewin88 @ Dec 4 2008, 01:56 PM) hmmp...if can't solve with software then = hardware problem, hardware is not a big deal. aiyoo checkout my past past past last post i think 2 or 3 pages back. most of us have this kind of problem.by the way what u mean middle of playing fail~ half way hang? auto off? with my exp, Hardware 1. somethings TER-short on the mobo(wire) 2. out of volt/signal to CPU(resistor problem) 3. voltage overload,(capacitor problem/power ic) 4. memory slot problem (will kill ur data in memory card/psp) 5. battery(Seldom) 6. bad connection between those ic and mobo~ when play games, or let the game idle, it randomly but frequently, the home button function (remember how u quit a game) will pop up, even u didn't even touch it. |

QUOTE(benwong88 @ Dec 4 2008, 11:32 PM) LOL... er.. please dont cucuk me. the umd door must kept open to play without any problem arising.anyways NICE. lolz hardmod is a ways to put it, haha.... so u have to keep the umd open or closed now? so far i've not been across one... just one that the home button during game play mutes the thing. would love to try it. when i keep it open, when playing my fingers got itchy and the door always got closed shut tak sengaja. so i decided to use a doorstopper (toothpick) and masking tape to make it open a lil bit but secure tightly. so even my fingers wont kacau it anymore. now i can maintain my patapon2 fever mode like nobody's business. mahahahaha |
