hie all.

it seems the problem "read umd at startup (while no umd) + home button function pop up wile playing game" is a quite famous nowadays. i googled for some answers and stumbled upon "corrupted idstorage".

can somebody please confirm this using dcv7 with idstorage regeneration will fix my psp.

dcv7 still need pandora battery right?

but the bad news is.
idstorage regen does not resolve my psp problem.

i'm beginning to think this is a hardware related case.

there are 2 ways to fix this.
i tell u the 1st fix is get a umd to sit tightly in umd slot. any umd oso can. either game, movie, even that chotto shot umd oso can.

the second one is not for the fainted heart. i'm not gonna show without high enough demand in here.

at first it looks like your psp is cured with idstrage regen (of course using pandora + dcv7 stick)

here's what i do:
idstorage regen (europe region)
1st boot pass
2nd boot fail
idstorage again (japan region)
1st boot pass
2nd boot pass
play game pass
go home for further playtest
middle of playing fail

now i hardmod oredi. playing without any home popup, nor when bootup it mintak umd anymore.

i tell u this problem is quite massive now. i bet this is hardware related.
when u can get ur hands on 1, u try.

aiyoo checkout my past past past last post i think 2 or 3 pages back. most of us have this kind of problem.

when play games, or let the game idle, it randomly but frequently, the home button function (remember how u quit a game) will pop up, even u didn't even touch it.

this is how i resolve my problem ok.
warning! do try these at home.

the umd door must kept open to play without any problem arising.
when i keep it open, when playing my fingers got itchy and the door always got closed shut tak sengaja.

so i decided to use a doorstopper (toothpick) and masking tape to make it open a lil bit but secure tightly. so even my fingers wont kacau it anymore. now i can maintain my patapon2 fever mode like nobody's business. mahahahaha

oh the vshmenu.
u need to enable it 1st in m33 recovery menu.
but 1st make sure u have a cfw. if ofw, shure kenot do.
i did ask for ur firmware number right?
