Ok. It was like this.

I asked about this postpaid DG20 plan. Two people from two different Digi retailer shop told me that

DG20 PLAN
Monthly commitment is RM20
Usage below RM20, have to pay RM20
If more than RM20, then pay according to the usage.

So i registered postpaid.

Now different stories came out when i ask about my bill. The digi customer service said

DG20 PLAN
Monthly fees is RM20
For example my usage for this month is RM20
Usage + monthly fees = RM40

After listened to his explanation, i want to terminate my account immediately.

When i reach to a ANOTHER digi shop, ask bout this DG20 PLAN AGAIN. They said this new package is

Monthly commitment fees. Usage below RM20 still have to pay RM20, If over RM20, then pay according to your usage.

WHICH ONE IS TRUE? HELP...! rclxub.gif

DG20 PLAN
Monthly commitment is RM20
Usage below RM20, have to pay RM20
If more than RM20, then pay according to the usage. This is true...most of the customer service agents don't know much wat they talking caused most of them are new.

No, DG20 is not commitment, it's access fees.
Only package above DG20 is commitment fees.

I checked my usage every just to make sure i didn't over use. If your friend using below RM20, she pay RM20 = tax
But why i use 23 + 20 monthly fees + tax ???

btw what female tag?

This is the comparison of the DG20 with similar plans from other telcos. Hope this will help.

http://digi.com.my/whatshot/promotions/iheart/plan.do?sec=2

This is the comparison with previous digi postpaid plans.

Actually hor, if in doubt, you can always call their customer service.

Yeah. Infact they have already given all the digi customer including prepaid's FOC call to Customer Service hotline. Else you can also email them if you don't have any DiGi line to call.

well, it is just a low-end plan to cater the needs for low-usage users.

There are various plan for you to choose.

No plan is good nor bad to any user. It is just a matter of whether it suits your needs/usage pattern or not.

tis plan is actually nothing special...

my dad current is using tis plan.
RM20 is the basic fee, need to pay every month even u never make a single call.
he seldom makes calls so d total fee every month is less RM30. seems like not worth and i think prepaid with 365 days activated more suits my dad.

and i dunno why my dad cant send sms with tis plan...

this is wat i figured out (not necessary correct):

this DG20 is more or less like the previous OPTIMUM plan (RM20)

the few differences are:
1. DG20 pays 20 sen per sec to other service provider
OPTIMUM pays 30 sen per sec

2. DG20 charged by 30 sec block
OPTIMUM charged by 12 sec block (this should be the case)
*but digi silently change the OPTIMUM plan to charge by 30 sec, ive contacted their customer service to confirm this. (damn shit digi)
the reason given by them was to encourage user to use the DG20 plan rather than the OPTIMUM plan. what?? they are punishing their early subscriber/supporter, i hear u say? YES!

unconfirm
3. DG20 cannot use SUPPLEMENTAL (RM10) plan
OPTIMUM lets ur subscribe up to 3 (RM10 or other) supplemental plans

welll........ DAMN this digi. still using it though.

conclusion: sux DG20 plan.

I CHECKED AND SURVEYED at 2 digi shops BEFORE SIGNING UP.. They told me it's COMMITMENT FEES. After find out it's a monthly fees, yesterday went to Another digi shop AGAIN, and still GET THE SAME answer (commitment fees)

Total up = 3 digi authorize SHOPS ..!

THEY STILL INSISTED THAT MY DG20 IS COMMITMENT FEES not monthly fees mad.gif

are they stupid or something.. then i manage to write up a complain to digi. They reply and called me immediately "SORRY, HAVE TO RE-EDUCATE THEM AGAIN"

SO you think i checked enough or should i check with the whole malaysia's digi authorize shop shakehead.gif

It could be a billing error. I suggest you call Digi up immediately and explain the situation to them.

I had a similar problem recently where I was charged the RM50 from the One Plan on top of the calling charges. This never happened before until I switched to the DG20 plan. Its a bug in their system.

After called them, they acknowledged that it was a problem with their system and got it fixed. Unfortunately, they still made me pay the full bill for that month and they gave me a credit of RM50 for the next month.

Anyway, Im slowly transitioning away from Digi because of poor signal in my area.

Authorized shop is not 100% educated.
Handphone shops still think all the batteries are cadmium type.

You ask all the right questions, but you ask the wrong source.

The digi website is very clear. Its Monthly fees DG20.
Always refer to official sources = Website & Customer Hotline.

Now, you terminate or upgrade to Digi Prepaid/Happy.

i got my bills on the 10th day after the biling date 21st. On that day i got the bills, my line has been bared. So it sucks. One more thing. Upon registration, it said no need registration fees or whatsoever, but on my bill stated rm10 for stamp duty. Also some tax charges. Plus 20 monthly fees and my usage, reach bout 53.23. i wasn't told about there were charges on duty stamp when register digi postpaid. Digi 20 Postpaid sucks.

lazy to bla bla bla with them. Waste my time, petrol and my saliva. One more thing pissed me so much. "you want to register? Any digi shop should be able to help you. you want to terminate ur account? Sorry, you can only do that at our main office locating at bla bla bla." what's the use of their digi specialist store, digi centre branches? So dumb.
