ebernie ! hmm,wanna check with you where did you purchase your sigma 30mm?interested with this lens and what it can do. but kinda worry on it's performance,build.

im planning to get a prime lens,interested with sigma because at 30mm,is a creative point where u can actually did more than 50mm prime.i wanna wait for the all new nikkor AF-S 50mm f1.4 price before making any decision.

If is darn expensive,i rather go for sigma.I wonder did shops like YL or J-one does sell it locally,my last visit to j-one i check with the tauke and he say it must be order,been checking the internet some user actually buy it from ebay hk for less than rm1500 include shipping fees.

guys,i was kinda disappointed today when i have decided to purchase a sigma 30mm f1.4.
i call up yl and they quoted me rm1680 for the lens + 2 year warranty.
when up to j-one and they quoted me rm1670 for the lens + 2 year warranty.

obviously for me it was way out of my expectation and budget,shashinki was just selling at rm1450
and
rm1350 at penang.

damn disappointed,i though at local kl shop,it would be cheaper than shashinki and local online seller.

I give up wanna buy this lens,my main concern is their after sales service,if my lens got apa apa hal,i can straight away go to the shop to do further checking and dont have to send back to shashinki which is way far at perak and maybe back to penang? well,that is unless I was allow to do the servicing at sigma distributor at sunway if i purchase it at penang or shashinki?

i better wait for the rumors AF-S nikkor 50mm f1.4 and in contrast,i would pay rm1600 for nikkor lenses (if is true and at this price) rather than a third party,my main point is i don't wanna buy lenses that bundle along with hassle rather than enjoyment of using it.

hi guys,me again.

hmm,wanna ask about camera bag,particular backpack style,I was wanting to change my bag since then,i've been using nikon 90th anniversary bag which can fit 1 kit+lense,and 1 more lense and sb800.thats it,full.

any recommendation for a bag that can put 3 lenses,1 kit+lense,1 sb800 and is around rm 300,i really hope is a comfort bag to carry around?

i was testing kata bag at j-one and dont like the style when you wanna grab your camera,you have to drag the "pouch" only you can get your camera,i dont like this style.

Yes,just bear in mind all Nikon Mounted lenses can mount on D40 including tamron,sigma etc.Nikon Mounted ok?
just that some cannot autofocus,you need to manually focus,that's it.

older lenses like AF lenses AF 50mm F1.8,or AI-S 28mm,these wont Autofocus with d40,because inside the lenses it does not have a motor.
Just remember AF-S,the S.is the one compatible for D40/x/60.

VR is nothing to do with autofocus,VR helps you to reduce your handshake when shooting in low light or at longer focal length,thus your picture won't be blur and sharp theoratically.

i went up on the first day,just for a lowepro fastpack 250,retail price rm672,discount rm 473.then check prices for sb800 rm1180++ sb600 750++.dont bother la,YL,J-one also cheaper.

guys,hmm,shooting with my d40 all these long,recently starting to felt it does not satisfied my need,one of the reason is i felt it was so tiny
felt d40 crop factor already not so good and the viewfinder was small,and iso noise are well notice when pushing up to a certain limit.
my aim was d300 jump but it was way too out of my budget already,yesterday kena poison by full frame camera,fuiyoo,dam nice man

should i consider upgrade d80 or buying a AF-S 50mm f1.4 instead?

i've been thinking to get a prime for myself la,i dont have a prime after all 1,if getting a d80, Autofocus with older generation lense is not a problem already

the thing is D80 is around rm2k which is quite decent price for me

hmm,been looking for a good low light shooting lenses.
i can't decide which lenses to get for myself.
between AF-S 50mm f1.4 or tamron 17-50mm f2.8.

i have been dropping out tamron earlier due to the focus jamming problem,that really scare me off sial.
but,i don't quite like a fixed focal length,feels kinda odd.anyone could tell me more on tamron good side?
