I bought my KDK fans at QQ, cheapest...but their lights are expensive...go to TopTen..lol

saw the Haiku Fan at Homedec which uses a DC Inverter motor as opposed to the standard AC motors for all other fans. My take is this - unless electricity costs are very high, and your fans undergo heavy usage, it would be tough to recover your initial fan cost from the electricity savings. Reason? There are 2 models, one made from plastic, and another from bamboo. I wasn't quoted on the bamboo model, but the plastic one was RM9xx...1 grand for a fan? Esp if I would need to buy a few for completeness? Sorry I'll pass smile.gif

for budget fans, i think Alpha, Deka, Elmark etc would be a better bet...same goes for heaters...

are you sure that you will buy sufficient quantities of the fans, such that the savings will make up for your transportation and time costs? would you still save after that? Each box is not small, if you drive a small car like a Myvi, you could carry 3-4 at the most. anyway, only you know your own situation - decide wisely.

do note that it is cash price, there will be a surcharge for creditcard.

light shops usually will sell fans/heaters at a lower price to attract customers to their store. don't say melaka, even in KL most electrical stores won't be selling at the same price as QQ. but QQ's lights are not cheap at all...

Recently bought Panasonic F-M14E8 from HLK for RM380. Best price so far I could find...

not bad, as some places sell for RM385-400

anything below RM380 would be excellent.

ultimately, whatever product or brand that you buy, it's the service that's provided which determines customer loyalty smile.gif go for brands that can commit to a certain level of service
