@ PhatPhunk - Haven't bought any hardware lately, no time and space sweat.gif Will be getting a PS2 from US next month because of price drop, other than that no plan for anything else this year.

Have been collecting US RPGs across various platforms lately, and some other titles here and there. Planning to pump up my US SNES collection too nod.gif

@ sonic - I sold mine not too long ago, SA gives me headaches rclxub.gif

Hey Gundamalpha! Long time no see. Thanks for the complimentsman.. Hmm I sorta almost complete my handheld collection (just missing the Gameboy color). Anyways, yeah.. Yeah, you are right. There is a turbo pad for the famicom which plugs into the ext port. It is made by Hudson.

Sony S4PH (lol). Yeah we here in Malaysia was plagued by the invasion of the FamiClones. I have never seen an Ori Famicom being sold in shops here even once. I'm not surprised if you thought yours was original (as I also thought mine was when I first got it) But it was cool looking. White and Gray color scheme, and it has orange turbo buttons. I think it looked sleek and wouldn't mine buying one if I see them again...  Mine got busted by my bro's friend when he got excited and accidently pulled out the eject slot! I suppose it can be repaired, but we didn't care about it and just left it there and eventually threw it away when we moved to the new house.  doh.gif

mine sure was fake as the video out from the console always get loose and if the console shake abit the game will hang with artifacts on the screen, ori famicom got that type of problem huh bro? icon_question.gif

Hey, yeah I remembered that MicoGenius model! At first I thought it's a handheld version of the Famicom, complete with it's own LCD screen and is also a TV Tuner. Haha. It's a cool piece of engineering though, but sadly wasn't good enough like you said tongue.gif

I hooked up the Famicom on my TV, which fortunately still supports it using RF connection. It really brings me back in time.. I was glued to it, initially wanted to do a test run, but ended up wanting to complete the game! I finally gave up in the last stage after numerous attempts to beat the final boss. Now I need more Famicom cartridges.
Any of you guys wanna donate your pirate carts? whistling.gif Lol..

Yeah, the ori Famicom's jack are tight as they were just made yesterday. I still can't believe mine was manufactured in 1986. She still looks hot! Even when she's not plugged in, I could just sit there and admire her body. Yeah, I'm slowly becoming a retro nut.. icon_question.gif

Talk about Dragon Ball games,
these are still some of the most enjoyable one,
even those made on Wii and 360 are not as fun.

Agree.... it is innovative, and try to emulate the battle as presented in comic....
but it is not as fun as a 2D fighters on SNES and MD.

My first Dragon Ball, and still the best is Dragon Ball RPG series on Famicom. If I ever buy a Famicom, those 4 games will be the main reason. That Legacy of Saiyan (also DB RPG) for SFC also plays terribly well nod.gif

I just couldn't enjoy more current (post PS1) DB games, no matter how good they are

I still remember playing Dragon Ball Z on the Super Famicom. It's an RPG title with Japanese words (Card style battle) & not fighting style. Boy! I didn't know how I managed to finish that game without reading a single word tongue.gif It was a great game as it tells the story of Dragon Ball Z starting from Goku's brother from Planet Saiyan right till Goku becomes a Super Saiyan vs Fliza.

Damn, wondered where my console & those cartridges went??? doh.gif

One heck of a game rclxms.gif

I actually didn't quite understand why some critics said this is not a "true sequel" to Mario 64. hmm.gif

Gonna pull out my NGC to replay it again.
