The gt pack does not included the LE umd. Only normal version. Only extra is the gt pouch. I only found some shop in lyn selling for RM950.

Just bought a used modded NTSC J ps2 slim (70006) as spare. RM230 for console, cables, 1 ori controller, 1 ori mem card, 1 third party mem card - good deal? its a 3 year old item.

This is the modded type where it can't play NTSC U/C PS1 games. I haven't tried NTSC J PS1 games yet.

Originally wanted to get a new slim red one, but cheapest is RM450, and there is no matching color memory card... so save some $ by buying a used one and invest the savings on another ps1 (maybe 2).

ps2 slim for RM230? U're buying from garage sale or outside? Wow. It's very cheap I think. U can play ps1 games on a moded ps2 slim. I've read it somewhere in the platstation2 thread there's a trick to play ps1 games using a memorycard IINM. Try look for it at the ps2 discussion thread.

Hey S4PH, so i assume you got the 9xxxx series.. wta : can you then replace the power adaptor so that you don't need to use an adaptor/transformer?

i mean.. say i have a PAL ps2, i basically just need to swap the Aussie 2-pin cable to a local 3-pin cable since its same 220v.

the thing is i dislike adaptors.. and hate transformers.

nope as us console has 2 pin connector on the backside of the console as, ps2 consoles with external power adaptor connect using 1 pin to the console, for PAL console im nt sure bro as i haven seen 1 yet
