I actually feel that the minis look ugly - but it's probably just me.

(The voidwalker and Phadalus look ok to me, though)

I'd most probably buy their special minis tho, like the raid instances, which I'm sure they will have. Onyxia and the like, just for collection or DnD.

Holy crap, what have they done to my lovely Aleyah?

Don't think I'll get into this one, though I'll reserve my judgement when it's out.

Not really a WOW fanatic myself, but count me in if there's organized play support for the minis.

But yeah, first impression is very important, thus ugly miniatures is quite a turn off for me.

According to UDE there will be Organized Play, just like WoW TCG, constructed and limited.

check the official forums, over 65% of the miniature cards and abilities have been spoiled.

The game is launching at the same time as 2 other competitors - Mutant Chronicles(to me it's too complex) and Monsterpocalypse(this one looks fun, i might pick up 2 factions to have fun).

Compared to them, wowminis is incredibly easy to play, and very fun , and offers a lot of customization options. I've already targeted my team , it's Elendril/Moonshadow/random Paladin with heal and Hammer of Wrath.

here is the link to the article that has the download link for the demo. Don't be put off by the fact that Alliance always wins, just to get a feel for the game. I guarantee you, by your 2nd time playing you almost won't need to look at the rulebook.

based on people who actually spoke to UDE in Blizzcon ...

Onyxia will have an estimated price tag of $200.

that translates to roughly RM700-800.

of course, from the pictures you already know the dragon is huge.

I compared the scale of the Dragon to a normal mini ... the length of her is roughly the same size as a 22" LCD.

Added on November 18, 2008, 1:06 pmi just want to add - Coolstuffinc hasn't scaled their shipping prices to minis yet. I just got an email confirmation that they shipped 12 minis to Australia for $6.40 ...
