Nope. The PSN IDs are tied to the different users on your PS3. There's no complications that I know of.Technical PlayStation 3 FAQ For Beginners | V2, General PS3 Q&A and Technical Disucssion

If you have a compatible sound system, mark it.
If not, then don't. You may damage your speakers. |

Actually the MY PS3 80GB is slightly more expensive at Sony Style. If you can find it outside, it'll be cheaper. A bit.

Tried to log into Home beta, but I keep getting a network error. I thought it was a bad connection, but I was able to download a 90MB trailer in 10 mins, so I guess it must be the Home servers then.

Coax can support 5.1 no problem. The problem is if your amp doesn't have an optical input, you'll need to find some way to convert the coax to optical.

The newer PS3s (SG set and above) all have 2 lenses. But even then I don't dare play pirated discs. I just pop my thumbdrive or HDD in the USB.

Bro, the converter you're trying to bulk would be the best way. I was looking for an opposite one (ie Coax-->Optical). Found some on ebay, but they'll require a step down transformer.

Nope. The Malaysian 80GB set is a completely different machine, WITHOUT the card reader and only TWO USB slots.

KL sentral eh, we ramai2 rent one under a fake MSC status company, get fast broadband, and rent it out to desperate malayan gamers.
Somewhere in there I think we can add profit! |

No it won't. But it will give you higher probability of opening up office in MSC hubs, which MUST have fast broadband.
