yup i did get much more calls for interview after i include a SG number n address in my CV. biggrin.gif

of coz the best would be stay here n look thru the papers n websites, easier for interviews.

surely u still can find IT jobs here, but i guess its really not as much as used to be. really depends on ur luck too.

how long do we need to leave the country if our EP is terminated by our company after we resign? n when can we come back n for how long?
anyone has got this experience pls share bcoz its so hard to call ICA centre tru their hotline..
*
my case laz time was that i being granted a 14 days (or is it 15 ? cant remember correctly lol) social visit pass.

did ur EP last for more than 3 months ? what happened to me was that i resigned after 2 months n cancelled the EP, in the end the customs say since the employment period is too short, its being considered took up my social visit period quota, n i ended up need to wait for around 3 or 4 weeks before i can be granted entry again. doh.gif

out of curiosity i checked the foreign currency section of DBS, OCBC and UOB website, DBS listed MYR as 0.00000, while OCBC and UOB have no MYR at all in the list.

looks like something is going on to me. hmm.gif

I find the Western food and HK food here is better. More authentic and tasty. Normal hawker and low end restaurant fare, Malaysia by leaps and bounds.
*
agreed abt the Western foods here, coz i can have pork chops n ribs in Tony Roma's ! biggrin.gif HK foods are pretty rubbish though for me if compare to those in KL.

as for hawker foods... the only food that i really like is the fried prawn / hokkien mee which is cant be found in KL.

Today just went 2 see one room owned by an indian couple. Do you guys think its unreasonable? originally asking for 400, but when i mentioned that i do clothes washing more then once a week, he started saying about PUB very expensive and raise it to 420 to cover the cost of washing clothes more then once a week.

I was like wtf.
*
well that really tel u what kind of landlord they are, isn't it ? i bet sooner or later they will complaint abt u being not go to sleep by late night n thus more electricity usage n ask u to pay more, or things like that.

i can't stand staying with this kind of person personally. good thing my current landlord doesn't give a shit at these things at all.
