QUOTE(E-J@1 @ Dec 31 2008, 04:58 PM) @ hypermax Yeap, you are correct. Both P60 and A17 are actually derivatives of A16.i think u can improve ur cable management btw, just realize 1 thing after u posted ur case pic armor suit is just a pc-a17 slap with door + top cover thingy damn, i thought the interior would be more spacious + different than pc-a17 However, one nice feature which only P60 has is the hard disk bay. Since there's no fan attached to it, i can turn it the other way round (as in cable side facing the front), thus making it a Sata hotswap. But of course, the best feature for P60 is the triple 120mm fan in front. Temperature for this casing is damn good. In addition, triple radiator can be mounted in front (some modification needed). My cable management is actually quite bad, as this casing has plenty of space to hide wires. I am planning to make a custom made CCFL switch in front, thus the inverter can be hidden. In addition, triple radiator can be mounted in front (some modification needed). both case is just an upgrade version of A16 another matter is that P60 can mount 3x120mm fan on the front without sacrificing any 5" bay compared to A17, u can't mount 3x120mm without sacrificing 3x5" bay not everybody uses fan controller, but do anyone using pc without dvd-rom nonetheless, at least 1x5" bay reserved, regardless the type of user u r QUOTE(hypermax @ Dec 31 2008, 06:44 PM) My cable management is actually quite bad, as this casing has plenty of space to hide wires. QUOTE(E-J@1 @ Dec 31 2008, 08:10 PM) yup, i have to agree Actually, P60 is harder for cable management, as the cables from the front panel are freaking long for some unknown reasons.both case is just an upgrade version of A16 another matter is that P60 can mount 3x120mm fan on the front without sacrificing any 5" bay compared to A17, u can't mount 3x120mm without sacrificing 3x5" bay not everybody uses fan controller, but do anyone using pc without dvd-rom nonetheless, at least 1x5" bay reserved, regardless the type of user u r that's why i said u could get ur cable management better coz i owned A17 once damn easy to manage thinking bout it again, i do regret selling it last time but got no choice that time, need sff for portability Right now, need to hide the inverter for the CCFL in one of the 5'bay to have a neater look. BTW, i dislike A17 as the front panel is quite plain compared to A16, which has the HDD module which looks awesome. Also, the price is about RM200 plus more than A16, with almost similar layout. But again, those are only my opinion. |
