eerr....not just ace la.....actually lacquer IS the proper term for it...

clear spray is actually more of a street slang kinda thing

last time i went to hardware store to buy lacquer, i ask "Lao Pan, i want a can of lacquer". he just blink.gif doh.gif
then i said clear spray la... blush.gif maybe bcoz i the hardware store located at kampung, so normal people always use term clear spray... blush.gif

I just bought 2 cans of flat black, too bad that hw shop doesnt sell flat clear,

only clear, Clear paint is going to make u paint shine right?

just spray ur interior with 3 layer of flat black, i believe its enough to prevent from scratch.thats what i done to my casing...smile.gif

Does 3 layers enough to prevent the black from peel off?Ive sprayed mine before this but with 2 layers and it seems the black coated dissolved.sad.gif i guess im missing some steps

clean the casing, let if to be dried of for a day.
then spray the 1st thin layer, let it dried (around 30minutes).
and repeat the step for 2nd and 3rd layer....

and after that, let the paint dried for few days to make sure its really hardened before u put back ur hardwares inside.
the paint will continue to hardened untill a few weeks, maybe months.

some people will just eagerly put their hardwares inside b4 the paint really hardened, this for sure will peel the paint off. i put a side my casing for a week b4 i install all the hardwares inside. a bit busy actually, no time to play2 with my pc...tongue.gif

actually the important step is how u clean ur casing. i wash my casing with soap and brush.let it completely dried...

i think it cost by the base of material we wanna apply the paint bro..its my be too smooth till the paint canot stick on it like my mobo tray lastime been coat with 3 layers still peel off sad.gif myb need to rub it with sand paper 1st

well,ive waited for a week and even more than that before putting back all my hardware but okay,when i ready to assemble them i slowly try and rub the casing and i could see blackish color on my hand.But yes,i didnt clean my casing first before that but im pretty sure its clean.hehe
