Stupid me. |

LR44 cost RM 2.50 or less for one... you can fit LR43, LR55, LR54, all have the same diameter with only a difference thickness, just add conductors to compensate for the difference.

One of my orders from HLJ (via SAL) haven't arrive yet, and it's been nearly 3 weeks now (the other bundle of stuffs that was shipped 3 days after this one already arrived last week). |

BUt for those Garage Kit or resin kit.... u need to do a lot of touch up..... close gap, paint, masking, drill....... the list just goes on and on..... leaving me wonder how on earth can we make the eye like those PVC figure we buy out there??????? |

I once read on how to paint a Ranma figure in HK model magazine using Tamiya enamel paint if i recall. As far I can tell, the painter manage to draw consistent eyes. Note that issue of magazine is like 10 years ago.

if u drop a pvc the first thing to go is usually the paint, u will get paint chip instead of it breaking. Parts that might break are those join by very very small area, such as hair strands, etc.
For figures standing with 1 leg, the leg are usually made of ABS which is harder or they'll insert a rod into the leg to prevent leaning |

hmm... the gathering pics... of ringo... i thought only mine has a small paint chip at the end of her hair strand (the long one near her boobies), but the one in the pics has the exact same defect as mine...

i see. so i guess that alice i won't be getting then. pity that cause i kinda like the detailing on the weapons.

Still, one leg figures are somewhat fragile IMO. |
