Come on la, biasa la dorang ckp camtu..... semua tu tanda jeles. Org nak kawan dia kawan, kalau tak nak blah jer. Aku kat opis camtu jugak. Ada yg kawan kita kerana ada sebab, kat blakang kutuk. Dan kawan yg ikhlas, kekadang x suka komplen direct, kena pulak hal2 yg boleh dimaafkan.

No point feeling sad because of someone accusation, only yourself and all of us will know that we can be kawan-kawan, not just because you helped us getting the phone, but it's mainly because we have a common interest as well like hanging out at Lowyat.net (gadget freak ), passion in Apple products, always trying to help others etc.

For me it is simple, people can accused me of anything they want but I will just be myself and don't care a damn thing , even though sometimes the accusation towards me is quite true

Well string bro... I'm not quite sure what is going on for now (will check details when really got time to surf when I'm off duty).
Anyhow, sometimes other people's comments we can't actually take them all, sure there is good and bad as different people have different perspective.
Just ignore those comments that make you feel unpleasant, and take those that you think will make you a BETTER person. This is at least what I think of, when comes to "attacking".

In real life, we can't run away from other people try to take advantages from another, but that is really a BAD + LOW QUALITY personality one owned. That is why sometimes it is so hard to get trusted and reliable friends... We just have to 'watch out' always when comes to picking friends.

Not choice, some people just can't be the REAL of themselves.
I just hope that it won't bother you too much on this matter.
Life is really short... Most importantly, BE TRUE TO YOURSELF, by then
we have nothing to lose....

I agree. Just ignore it. You know who is worth your while and who is not. No point wasting time and energy on the people who bring negative elements into your life. We can't please everyone.

IMO, alpha male is not such a bad description to have. Alpha males are called so because people trust them in certain situations to provide leadership. Genuinely caring for other people (aka selflessly helping others to get iPhone 3G's and dispensing free advice) is an alpha male trait.

However with that label or not, we will affect others around us with our behaviour. They can either choose to selectively emulate our qualities for self improvisation or simply become sheep who blindly follow. It is not the case of "I say, you follow". We don't have direct power over such decisions made by external parties. We can try to influence them to think for themselves but ultimately the power to decide is still in their hands. If we don't want any of this to deal with, we should just shut up and put ourselves into a bubble...which I don't think very highly of a person because it is a backward move.

Shame they don't sell the unlocked version but I am told by my friend (customer service rep) that they are being trained to answer questions like "If I move to a different country, say Malaysia, can I still use my iPhone?" I'm still trying to get more info on this since I was only told briefly last night. *just finished reading the sg thread... so we Malaysians have to get around the contract problem... anyways OT here...

Cool, another acquaintance in Singapore. I have very close friends, whom I consider family already, living in Tampines. Known them since '98 during my crazy chatting days, and they opened up their hearts and house for me, I'm truly grateful. Yes, Singaporean are a kiasu lot, but beneath that experior, they are a caring people as well.

An MTV-style jab at them, bro. It's me trying to be relevant to in this time and age.

Id rather not "say anything", and I certainly dont want anyone anyone to "follow what I say". Leaders hold too much of a responsibility to their followers and I do not want that responsibility. That is why I am still the guy on the right infront of the bus, rather than the guy on the left. At least I can jump ship second last.
