I took OWD and AOW with Quiver. They are good and strict but I don't like the service and its environment. I took other license with 3 more DC at other island so I can compare well. If you go for fun diving at Quiver, I don't recommend. Service at Long Beach Quiver are better than Coral Bay.

hah yes.. also planned already.. either apeks flight or atomics B2/M1... also 2k +- ..

prefer the lighter stuff, and dont think i'll be going <40m, performance for the flight should be alright i guess? 

how much will servicing cost? i read that atomics requires servicing once every 2 years, or after duno how many dives.. which is still acceptable i for me.. not too sure about flight... any clue u have?

My scubapro MK25/A700 only RM193.70 for servicing. I do it at Sealantis.

Paid around RM19xx for 5D4N, matta fair price, Borneo Divers, unlimited house reef dive (including sunset and night dives) as usual, 50% off equipment rental and 1st boat night dive, also included 1 day permit fee to Sipadan. It's my 2nd stay with them and I quite like their service.

Didn't see any pygmy seahorse at Seaventures. Lots of nudibranches and ribbon eel there though.

I'm quite interested to go for a dive at Pulau Perhentian. Actually I'm looking for somewhere to unwind and have a great leisure time to myself apart from diving. Saw some prices online and this particular dive site, Panaroma probably gave me the best packages of all. RM1400 inclusive of diving courses, 4 nights accomodation and 12 meals with return boat transfer too.

do u have any information centre based in kk? not planning to stay at pulau gaya .how much will be the total cost , i already go through most of the web , is it true cost will be around 1340 if at kk ?
tried inquiry for mabul , the flight tix almost double than kk , thats why i prefer kk now .
so what's the total budget require if in thai and indonesia?

Each dive cost will differ base on location. Redang cheapest is around RM50 per dive excluding equipments. Other hotels can go up to RM80-100 per dive. From what I heard, Malaysia is one of the cheapest place to dive. Mostly all go by packages, with accommodation and full board meals all that.

Don't worry about going alone, lots of ppl go alone as well and they meet others when they go diving. Then from there you'll know more divers and maybe other single divers that are looking for buddies too.

is the resort nice? what kind off facility they have?

my camera is Sony W350 compact with Seashell universal casing. Lots of Photoshop involved! and doesnt do macro properly, thats why there's no super-close-up shots. but works perfectly for me, makes my ID so much easier. and its so much more fun!

Congrat buddy... was in perhentian last early july, no turtle spotted while diving and lot of jellyfishes too...

at first I plan to go diving trip once for every 4month, cannot tahan go one trip for every 3month.. now 2 month !! hurmm... lot of cost too..

I'm torn between  XTX200 or XTX50 or MK25/S600. Which one would you guys recommend?
