QUOTE(Putraskyline @ Aug 18 2011, 08:17 PM) Haha...Its far. One is north and another is south. For me, Paya are ugly when low tide. How much Sealantis charges per dive? Hmm...i think its 70/ 1 dive 65/ 2-4 dives 60/ Above 5 dives. BCD + Reg = Rm50/day This post has been edited by TAGreptiles: Aug 19 2011, 11:56 AM |

QUOTE(miuk @ Aug 29 2011, 12:59 PM) Field reports from Tioman says that the seas are very choppy currently with vis around 3m. It's been raining on the islands. confirm that. did only 2 dives on my trip there. Refused to do anything more. Viz was bad. We had like 3m at Marine park wreck, and 5m at renggis. current was strong as well. |

QUOTE(Sky.Live @ Sep 19 2011, 04:57 PM) Haha I'm back to ask a question without attending any dive course yet.. Basically I went to snorkel in Lang Tengah Last weekend. When I try to dive down the sea bottom, the seawater would go in my eyes (maybe the water sip through my face when I try to hold the breath). I ask the divers in the Island and they say you will use the same kind of mask when you dive, so I would like to ask is it normal that there's leakage in your mask? It's very irritating and difficult to adjust your mask even on the ocean surface.. Make sure your fringe don't get into the top part of your mask. And take OWC. blackwhitechips got contact. |

QUOTE(blackwhitechipsKL @ Sep 20 2011, 11:30 PM) for lumut, you mostly will do pulau jarak or pulau sembilan...in greenish water. might as well pay and go Tioman...almost same price! Lumut got dive operators? How much the dives there cost? What to see? I'm from Lumut but never knew there got. Dive at Pulau Semilan won't kena hook by lures? |

Anyone been to the east coast islands over the monsoon? How's the weather over there? Since its been raining like mad over here in KL i would expect it to be the opposite there.
My friend in Tioman was telling me the viz was quite ok for monsoon time. Only the current kacau a bit. |

QUOTE(Chinoz @ Mar 16 2012, 09:47 AM) I got a full Seapro 3mm wetsuit from Scuba Dynamics at Hartamas (above J&R) some weeks ago. They were having 50% off, RM299 only This one i saw also, with the Rm799 starter pack right? Ugly sia this one. Dunno still got stocks now or not la. I just got an IST Half body 3mm, Rm129 from ScubaTec during the adventure world expo. I always preferred board shorts diving. Senang want to kencing. |

QUOTE(bakry @ Apr 2 2012, 04:42 PM) Hi, Just came back from Perhentian. The wet suit was awesome altho i needed to add a weight to compensate. Well if you ask me, i would suggest getting half + board shorts. That's because usually i dive around SEA only. Unless going to other countries to dive which has colder water temperature, then i think its fine to go with half + board shorts. Is this the front zipped one? WJ-125 2MM LONG SLEEVE JACKET Like this one? I was looking at it. My question is, should i go with it + boardshorts or should i go full? Thanks |
