Good day.. I have this premna m. (maybe.. I think). Dont know how to style it. Have any suggestions. How to know if its from Taiwan or local.

Also it has this White things on the branches. Will they harm the Tree?

I also have this tamarind tree that i dont have the idea to shape it yet. If i cut the branch will It back bud easily? Anybody with experience?

At least now my wife cannot complain why my plants must be green and have no flowers

i bought it last weekend at rm60. expensive i think but the looks.. got a bright future in it. i trimmed it a bit now. waiting to see how the new growth turns up. just my opinion, i think this specie is kinda 'feminine' but it sure looks good especially the flowers. not yet potted..

Hi Bonsailelong..this is the ficus tigerbark I've been telling u.dropping leaves first becoming yellow then drop off..is there something wrong? I changed the soil to all red burnt soil because I thought the roots might be drowning under. Sunlight.. Only the evening sun.

Hi all. This venture into bonsai-ing really is a 'racun'. Today I managed to obtain some ixora and another small bushy tree(I don't know the name) from the majlis people who were about to scrap a hedge to make way for the road. Bonsai made me want to experiment with the ixora and the other tree. Will post a picture after this. Can experiment since its FOC. 😁
