hey guys, i want to ask. why when i took some pictures and view it in my DLSR LCD. the pictures seem fine and good in lighting and everything but when i put inside my com. the pictures is different from what i saw in the LCD. it is underexpose and the lighting is a dark compare to what i saw in the LCD. so what does this happen and how can i know to get the picture of same quality when i view in the DSLR LCD and in the computer? can someone plz enlighten me? sad.gif

learn how to read histogram, and i normally set the DSLR LCD to -2 steps below and it gives me pretty accurate reading now.

A simple question to ask.
Is it all Canon lens full frame compatible ? Or is it like Nikon which has DX lens for crop body ?

p/s : helping friend to ask blush.gif

all canon EF lens are full frame compatible.

EF-S is only crop body, exclude 1D (althought it is 1.3x crop)

hmmm now this is scaring me.. this thread moves fast ain't it compared to others?
anyway i'm just a person who loves to take pictures, so different cams for different uses. kind of like an impulse buying thing back then.
anyway, any photographers who hail from jb?

This one cannot take good macro shoot right ? I know I said potrait, but how bad this lens in doing macro shoot ? Can't find example picture for macro shoot pictures. However, from the examples, the potrait pictures look very good. Thanks for the recommendation.
As you've probably knew, I'm a newbie, so, 2nd hand is kinda dangerous since I don't have the experience to measure whether the 2nd hand one is good or not. So, I'm choosing the safe route, buy new one even though it will burn my pocketĀ  sweat.gif

how about getting a canon 100mm f2.8 macro... it's a great portrait lens + macro, but slightly slower + slightly over your budget

What the.. I was going to buy Canon 40D for my first DSLR, but now sweat.gif

why not, u got the moo to jump ship or not? 40D is cheaper by RM1k compared to d300 or oly E3. And if u believe in the philosophy of there is no magical lens, i don't suppose there is a magical body also. And thus, whether u r using a Canon, Nikon or Oly, it doesn't matter. You got no skill watever brand u use also no skill. Using 1D or D3 won't make u a better photographer. It just make u 'feel' better and more confidence.

talking about jumping ship, the D300(NO NOISE!!) has impressed me a lot, tempting to jump but no moolah.. i'll leave canon to win me over with new releases again..
