i newbie N82 user...want to use GPS..but dont know what should i install into my phone...can help me?? actually i'm already download garmin software but not install yet..

question about chargers...

the charger equipped with us is AC - 5, ouput 5v 800mA. I have another charger AC - 4x, output 5v 890mA.

I dont know whether is phyco effect or wat.....the 4x seems to charge my N82 faster......

is it safe to use it?

ps: i wonder y nokia give us a lower output charger. The AC 4x was from 6120 (890 mAh) while our phone battery is 1050 mAh

sometime im using USB charger... it is only 500mA
no worry... it is same...
only different is fast chargin and slow...

last time ppl like to CHARGE SLOW SLOW...
if SLOW mean more battery cell being ionize, longer battery power and lifetime could b longer
but nowsday i guessed nobody follow this rule anymore...
coz no matter what you do, your battery will not last you more than 2years
except cheplak version only last you 6months

can the phone be charge using the microUSB thingy connected to a PC or laptop?

which means charge slow really has those effects?

nokia map
- interface is nicer
- easier to navigate map (can use d-pad to pan map, rotate map)
- hot keys to jump to certain menu
- but map is less detail
- routing is scary (turn into a no entry street )
- male voice

Garmin with Malsing map
- need a lot of key press to get into menu
- no hotkey
- pan map is a pain, u need to move the mouse to the edge of screen
- map redraw speed is ultra slow
- however, map is more detail, with lots of user contributed POI (my favourite is the speed trap & police ambush POI )
- female voice 

so Garmin is the choice, although i wish it can improve the interface to be like nokia map

i just got my N82 few days ago, still try to explore more of the phone.  1 thing really impress me is the Garmin thing, any idea how much the charges for installation and where?  thanks guy

i was using cclock, i stopped using it already.
and yea, there is no stopwatch function in the phone which i find pretty dumb.

waaaa...i go to hp shop to upload malaysia map into my phone..charge RM30..huhuuh...so expensive...
anybody can tell me where to get malaysia map and how to put into my phone...coz i buy AP set n82..so dont have malaysia map

i go to malsingmaps forum and want download malaysia map but have a choice whether Mapking G10/2007 for Windows Mobile or Mapking R12 for Windows Mobile.

Wait u havent answer my question for which software, garmin or nokia map?

if garmin look for malsing map for symbian garmin mobile xt.

if nokia map , download nokia map loader to install map into ur phonee
