Guys i have 1 question about WLAN, in my uni..there are WLAN every where, but you need to log in with your student number and own password. When i selected the WLAN..it asks me for WEP key directly and it didnt ask for student number. When i type in my password, cant connect also. Or n82 does not support this kind of WLAN?

Guys, sorry I'm lazy and no time of browsing all the post. I need some practical answer. I wanted to change my SE G900 to this n82 adi lar, I fed up with my G900 adi after using my fren's n82. Seriously.... Tell you guys one thing, touchscreen for better web browsing? Bullshit! Comparing G900 and N82 web browsing experience, n82 is way way better due to a much faster processor.

Ok, sorry for complaining so much. Guys, just wanted to ask whether n82 battery life can last 2 days without switching off? My usage is about 40 sms per day, 15 mins call time, gaming + wifi about 30 mins per day + 10 photos capturing with or without flash. So is it possible? Need answer fast!

if using headphones, isnt it depends on the headphone's quality and the eq settings?

yea, im using with 8gb card.

the only irritating part is when u refresh the music library with more than 1000 mp3s...takes about 5 mins to do.

apart from that everything is fine.
the phone speed is more on how much ram is left remaining.

Hi guys, I need you guys help.I am a student from USM and I hope that I can surf web or check mail using my N82 but I have no idea how to set up the N82.   USM is using 802.1x which require user name and password. The N82 WLAN setting is kinda complicated and I fail to get the correct set up.   So I hope anyone of you here who are pro at it please kindly offer your help . Thank you

hermm . today i snap lyke 20 picture with no flash . and 4 with flash . listen to 2 song . around 6 min . then . called bout 5 min . sms bout 250++ . onli 2bars of batery gone.

what kind of GPS model you are using? and how much??

i have actually tested N82's GPS around KL before going outstation, it is very smooth as you said...
but once outside KL, things goes terrible wrong...

well overall having GPS still great, it manage to bring me to the destination i never been in my whole life 
you just need to use little common sense and some sign board along the road, GPS is jus an assistance...

with this i already save some buck on the maps

another note Malsing POI is really interesting, there is a section with landslide around Jan 2008, thank to our JKR the road still close till now as on Aug 2008...

the POI, at least help me avoid 2 accident!!! NO JOKE!!!

the real problem is "Lost Satellite Reception" ~ something todo with the GPS chip in N82
not strong...
it is working fine but i can said it is under perform during bad weather, indoor, tunnel and heavy tinted windscreen...
more over i m thinking if using for too long, the chip will lost track of satellite ~ too hot?? no idea...

note: i m still happy with integrated GPS in N82, we all know standalone GPS is definitely better
something like standalone camera vs camera phone...

having EQ is definitely good, but if gonna tune each genre... this is suck

buy a better earphone and set neutral for EQ... u will get the same taste
some earphone perform better on bass and some more musical or vocal
choose which type of music u like more with the correct earphone, then u will love it

im using Mylar x3i ~ it have vocal, clarity and enuf bass for all genre
